Bungie is regressing back to pre HoW grind where you have to regrind exotic leveling. You have to grind out marks to get equipment. (These economic mood swings are giving may whiplash.) You cannot even prepare for the next DLC. This is a freaking joke. Bungie doesn’t have the content, so they reinstate the grind fest. I am glad I did not pre order because I do not see where the content merits the grind.
This wouldn’t be feedback if I didn’t present a solution. Since exotic blueprints and faction equipment costs around 125 marks, daily missions, strikes, dismantling legendries, should reward you with 10 – 20 marks depending on the frequency of said activities. In addition to this, by the end of 3 NFSs and 3 WHSs, you should be able to buy a piece of equipment for EACH character. Anything less than this, validates the clams in my previous paragraph.
I am the type of player that plays one game for months on ends. I may play 2 games in one year. I was kinda hoping this would replace HALO. It feels like past, present, and future content does not merit the grind and investment. (time investment not emotional) My excitement for the future of this game is starting to turn to excitement for the possibility of experiencing other games. It’s bitter sweet.
Edit: Did think there would be this kind of response. There haven’t been any trolls.

18 RisposteBump. This "new" exotic upgrade program sure sounds familiar. Taken King exotic upgade: Find a old exotic, go to the tower vendor (blueprint kiosk), pay large sum of currency (150 marks) and get a higher damage UN-Leveled version of that exotic. .....that's now painted black and may have slightly different perks Dark Below exotic upgade: Find a old exotic, go to tower vedor (Xur on weekend), pay large sum of currency (7000 glim and 1 shard), and get a higher damage UN-Leveled version of that exotic Hmmmmmm. Let's see what Bungie had to say about that last year after players hated it:
Bungie Weekly Update - 12/04/2014 by DeeJ “The last thing we wanted was for you to look at your favorite gun or helmet and decide that it had become obsolete. Since the reveal, we’ve read a lot of ideas for how this could have been done better. Your feedback is clear: The time you have invested in your stuff should be respected.”
Here's a great video addressing this: http://youtu.be/Z4b5Jj6xGxQ Spread the word. #saveourexotics
