It's just not enough. I am okay with it being a unified currency, and it being shared between all 3 characters, but 200 is simply insufficient. Please reconsider that amount as the cap (or "wallet size" if that term makes more sense).
Alternatively, the amount of marks required to purchase a piece of gear or armor could be lowered to compensate for the decreased purchasing power we now have.
That's my #feedback, I hope it is well received.
Edit: Apparently I needed to also say I am okay with the weekly cap being removed. That particular fact does not change the point I am attempting to make. I expanded upon it more in the thread.
The point is having the freedom to decide between a piece or two and while you are deciding, you aren't necessarily capped and earning nothing. Choice and Freedom are the key factors, this Cap limits those. It's not a huge thing. Just from a design perspective it could be a small tweak and have large results.
Edit 2: A new thought occurred to me from how the marks will be earned in TTK. The primary source of the new Legendary marks are earned in the daily activities, meaning, they you get the reward one time, per character, per day. There is no longer a Vanguard Playlist that you just hop in and grind away 6 at a time until you are full, nor every PvP Match giving you some at the end of each game. These endless streams of Marks have been done away with. Those of you who are arguing to "spend them and just go earn more" are not recognizing the fact that they are NOT an unlimited stream anymore, despite the removal of the weekly cap.
Speculation: The removal of the weekly cap to allow for more than 100 being earned in a week is only a factor when one has so many legendary items that dismantling them will allow you to go beyond that 100. We will hopefully see a screenshot of the Navigator in upcoming Reveals and get a clearer picture of how many marks we will be earning in each daily activity we do.

1 Rispondiyou do realize that you can spend them then continue to gain them. It not like now when you get to 100 and that all you can have till the weekly reset.
-

-
You can gain unlimited amounts of it. It's not capped every week.

4 RisposteModificato da Xûr: 8/21/2015 11:43:02 PMWhat if I have 200 of vanguard and crucible when they change it?
-
I think it's fine
-
I was thinking about the same myself since marks will be account based now that 200 might not he sufficient. Around 300-400 would be better. You got to remember before the cap was 200 each and was character based now you only get 200 for everything and it's account based. So that was like what 600 total vanguard and crucible per account and now it's 200 total for crucible, vanguard and the other things now per account. So unless marks start falling from the sky and we can EASILY earn tons of them 200 cap will be greatly insufficient.
-
Bump. I like the sharing idea, but leave the number total as is. IOW, I suggest a 600 total cap.

Modificato da PayerJer: 8/22/2015 1:06:26 AMBump but if they were going to fix this it won't be for 3 months after ttk and or as a part of the A new dlc
-
Especially when you have another person playing on your gamertag. +1
-
There is no weekly cap to the amount of marks you can grind out, so ya its perfectly sufficient
-
I hope they atleast increase

Taken from the weekly update:
What will happen to my old Vanguard and Crucible Marks from Year One? When The Taken King is released, blocks of fifty Vanguard and Crucible Marks will be converted into one reputation consumable
-
200 Legendary Marks cap at a time on your account but when you get under 200, you can start re-earning it.
-
4 RisposteBut it's not capped..... now if what u meant was have a bigger wallet. Then edit Ur post for that. We can earn unlimited marks
-
There's no cap stop whining.
-
Agreed.
-
It should be at least 600.
-
because they don't you to instantly gain a full set of level 40 armour/weapons on day one of TTK, didn't know this was hard to understand

7 RisposteWhat is wrong with this community... do you guys ever stop complaining?
no you're not giving feedback about a system. You are bitching about something that hasn't been released yet. So how can you give feedback on it if you haven't even tried the shit yet
