Bring all the exotics with us!
If you won't let us ascend legendaries, at least make it so EVERY exotic can be upgraded to the new max for year two, not just a "select few." We worked very hard for our exotics and we deserve to have them stay relevant!

I've been trying to get ice breaker for a while now, and now I don't want to. Feel like all that grinding was for nought. Thanks Bungie.

2 RisposteI totally agree especially exotic armor. But apparently the only way bungie can make players use new stuff is buy making to old stuff useless instead of taking the time to design new powerful weapons worth using.

Don't even bother doing nightfalls in the new Taken Kings battles. Forget about any high level exotic rewards. Save your energy for the cabal in 5 months. They are on the way and coming with new gear and weapons .....(well actually only like 6 new exotics and I heard from my future self they aren't that great) but guardian prepare anyways. #saveourexotics #whyevenplay [spoiler]this is satire. But you get the idea. Why even bother hunting new exotics if Bungie will leave them behind ??[/spoiler][/quote]

So true. Why exactly are these exotics not even making it through Destiny 1. I would understand if they didn't make it to Destiny 2 (the real sequel not some DLC). And some didn't even last 3 months. Like Nothing Manacles, the Ram, the skolas exotics , and who knows which Titan and Hunters ones we have yet to learn will not make it. Sad. And then there's the exotic upgrade path: [b]Taken King exotic upgade:[/b] Find a old exotic, go to the tower vendor (blueprint kiosk), pay large sum of currency (150 marks) and get a higher damage [i]UN-Leveled[/i] version of that exotic. .....that's now painted black and may have slightly different perks [b]Dark Below exotic upgade:[/b] Find a old exotic, go to tower vedor (Xur on weekend), pay large sum of currency (7000 glim and 1 shard), and get a higher damage [i]UN-Leveled[/i] version of that exotic Hmmmmmm. Modificato da The 7th fall: 8/22/2015 10:26:18 PMI don't get it, if TTK was supposed to improve on nearly every problem we've had with Vanilla Destiny, Dark Below and HoW, why are they making 2/3rds of our current exotics irrelevant??? I will play TTK, but I certainly as hell won't use ANY of the exotics that are made irrelevant... Necrochasm has seen it's last meal, Vex Mytho is frozen in time again, the Guardians who fell at Twilight Gap that were honored by the making of Ghjallarhorn died in vain, and possibly the Lord of Wolves, Dreg's Promise, and Queen Breaker's Bow might be in jeopardy as well. If TTK is not super-doper-uber impressive on making nearly all the previous problems mute and fixed, then this is THE FINAL ACT that Destiny will ever see arise to light. Honestly why didn't Bungie just keep to HALO if they're gonna crap out on Destiny? At least they, oh I dunno revolutionized Sci-fi FPS with HALO, why are they doing a crappy transition in Destiny so far???

I was fine with legendaries being left behind, but when I saw that only about a third of year 1 exotics are coming forward I was kind of confused. Why did they wait until now to tell us that we lost all of them? Why not tell us when they told us all of year 1 is irrelevant.
