No more reforging ?!?
In the stream when Deej went to the gunsmith, only HOW (Deej's Dead Orbit) weapons had the reforge option. This option was oddly missing when Tyson talked to the Gunsmith. There is also no reforging icon on any of the new weapons. Could this actually be the case? I believe this is going backwards as a lot of us spent time customizing weapons to our liking, and our playstyle, making Destiny feel more like a RPG. I seriously hope this is not the case.

They realized it was a mistake to allow reforging People got all the best weapon rolls for little to no effort compared to how they would have to find the perfect rolls before. Aka, run 973 strikes until that one weapon dropped with good perks It's the goal of this game to slow down progression so people don't get everything done in a week

HoW weapons can still be reforged, but I'm thankful for it being left behind. killed all the fun of getting new weapons

I thought the same, but if you watch the whole gunsmith part very closely, at the end (I think) you can barely see the top of the "reforge option" header. It's still there, just at the bottom

There is still reforging Bc in the stream DeeJ scrolled down a bit and there were three TTK weapons available for reforging.

It was nice but definately unalled for. Everyone had the same roll so it got really old. I miss the old days were u might dismantle a weapon simply due to the roll.

4 RisposteReforging should stay for Iron Banner weapons only, and it should cost a little more. It is what made those weapons unique and that was lost in House of Wolves.

Thank god you actually have to get lucky to get the good guns instead of everybody having a shot package and hammer forged shotgun

That's the reason for different gun manufactures..... Each company has a play style/feel to their guns which takes out the need for reforging

It caused guns like the hopscotch pilgrim to be heavily sought out, and sorta broke the meta in PvP. Hopscotch matador ash factory. That's just a god build. And feeding motes to get the rolls I have make them even more so (I actually only rolled my ash factory twice though, I have insane RNG love)

Probably taking it out since you can infuse weapons of lower tier that you like to Raid quality

I hope reforging is not coming to ttk. It spoils the fun of searching for that unique weapon. Whats the fun in getting a generic shotgun and reforging it to the same spec as every other shotgun. Its boring. If its a crap roll either scrap it or learn to use it to its fullest.

More like customizing it to EVERYBODY'S liking. Everybody reforged the same weapon to have the same perks for EVERY weapon.

Reforging was a huge mistake. It caused two things both bad. 1-more grinding when they wanted to cut back on players having to grind, and 2-evrry weapon had obvious best rolls so everyone just rolled that roll, hence more unbalanced game play .

Personally I think it's for the best.Legendary engrams are now pretty pointless,at least we will now be happy to see them drop again
