GJALLARHORN will not be Upgradeable in Destiny The Taken King

6 RisposteEvery exotic will be upgraded max. Just certain exotics have a year 2 version that adds extra nodes with different abilities

18 RisposteThey said in the stream that only some of the exotics WOULD GET THE NEW PERK UPGRADES. All exotics will upgrade to the new damage and defense levels.

It is classified as a special weapon, grimoired as a special weapon, but if you noticed a perk allows you to hold it in the primary weapon slot. While I may have been wrong about that, my points still stand. Op is an idiot for think NLB would be moving to the special weapon slot and Bungie is stupid for making exotics obsolete. Whatever happened to becoming legend and every weapon you wielded would have an insane story behind it. Whatever happened to bringing your accomplishments forward. I was totally fine moving on from legendaries, but exotics were supposed to be the only things consistent. Each one unique and powerful. Now it'll just be each one is unique.

1 RispondiWell, they just clarified in today's weekly update. Some year one exotics will remain at year one levels. I was wrong. Life goes on. I will still enjoy year 2 as much or even more so than year 1.

The Gally was NOT shown in the year two upgrades. It does not look like its carrying forward yet at least. Why do you think Bungie sold the best weapon in the game...I guarantee the year three launch will include a huge reveal for the return of the Gally!

4 RisposteI stopped watching the video once he said "don't break down legendaries you have now because they'll give you legendary marks on TTK". Since that is 100% wrong, all further information listed in the video can be deemed inaccurate as well. I will wait till sep 15 to see what I can do.

4 RisposteI've posted this in another thread with the same topic, but here it is again. Deej just recieved Gally from Xur so I doubt he has it fully upgraded. (Yes, I know it can be upgraded in this time frame, but he is a casual player) I think to receive the exotic blueprint for year 2 weapons the original has to be fully upgraded. This is just a thought.

They said other exotic blueprints will be added. They probably will release a yr2 gally blueprint a month or so after ttk release so that you can't hit lv 40 and insta-make your yr2 crutch heavy. They're probably gonna make you work for a little while. I'm ok with that.
