That was probably some of the worst presenting I have ever seen in my life. You would think Deej would be super pumped up and excited. But instead of greeting us with enthusiasm he just goes " Hi. Thanks for joining us" in a boring non enthused tone. That stream literally took my hype level down by about 50%. Bungie needs to find new community manager because they have no idea how to talk to their player base. On top of that some of the things in the stream didn't even work properly. And before you start saying ohhhh its only a test environment. Well yea but you don't present stuff that isnt fully flushed out...
Do youselves a favor Bungie and get rid of Deej he is one of the worst community managers I have seen in my life.
Edit: I am also only referring to the actual presentation itself and not the reveals in it.
Edit: I am not looking for Broman level enthusiasm.

15 RisposteRemember these guys are community managers and game designers, not TV presenters!!
-
That's why we get the Comm guests in the next streams. Also, Artifacts confirmed by Luke Smith in the coming stream next week.
-
3 RisposteDid you want them scream and run around? I'm rather glad the they didn't go all infomercial on it.
-
1 RispondiSoo let me get this straight. Last reveal for HoW they had broman who was hyper and incredibly enthusiastic. Everyone complained. This time they tone it down and reel it back in. Now you're complaining?
-
1 RispondiDon't expect pitchman level presentation from 2 engineers and a community manager. I'd rather hear dull explications that are accurate then enthusiastic bullshit from someone who has no clue
-
28 RisposteModificato da Neutrill: 8/20/2015 4:47:48 PMDeeJ was to busy being pissed at Cozmo for actually asking the questions the community wants to hear instead of what bungie wanted him to ask.
-
I could care less who presented. A monkey could have sat there as long as they showed the TTK content...
who gives a shit?
-
4 RisposteNone were in person PR people. And in the US the number one fear is public speaking, followed by death.
-
Honestly who cares if deej not was enthusiastic, if you wanted to get hyped go watch the trailers and teasers for the taken king, the twitch stream was made for information, not your entertainment
-
2 RisposteWhat the blam do you want from him? A tap dance with top hat and tails?
-
4 Risposte*is excited* -Forums: OMG that was so scripted! He probably wasn't excited at all, only happy to get a paycheck! *is extremely excited* -Forums: OMG, Broman totally ruined the stream!
-
Deej needs to be GONE...have been saying this for some time now....he is the worst on so many levels.
-
4 RisposteYou are the worst.
-
What the hell was he supposed to do? Jump up and down, screaming and shouting to appease the 12 year old segment of the Destiny community? FFS.
-
What exactly was there to freak out over? Everybody wanted more vault space and when they started talking about that the crowd got hype. Otherwise the stream was super informative.
-
2 RisposteThe developer showing off no mans sky was the worst presenter ever.
-
I thought the stream was good. I am excite
-
Let's not forget prof Broman and his overly excited reactions from previous Destiny twitch reveal. I stopped watching because of him.
-
1 RispondiHow charismatic did you expect two computer programmers and an Internet manager to be? I would prefer to hear things from the creators themselves then to hear everything from paid hype men.
-
Modificato da SkilPhil: 8/20/2015 4:28:01 PMI think he's genuine - sometimes people who hype to get people excited can be condescending and patronising. I find Bungie have always been quite dry in their execution and humour (compared to other studios), That's why they are more relatable.
-
Why is everyone surprised? They don't want to do these streams anymore than we want to see them. They could do a simple podcast with prerecorded video clips instead of promoting these streamers as if they're something special. Every one of these streams has been a disaster for one reason or another.
-
3 RisposteModificato da Shiloh Ivy: 8/20/2015 4:06:05 PMI often question what is the purpose of DeeJ being our community manager. He doesn't comment on the forums. He doesn't make post. He doesn't even play the damn game. He doesn't develop. What could he possibly be doing all day? He's made two ignorant comments about Destiny that you'd expect from someone who doesn't even play, much less our community manager. He even implied that we are hoarders. I agree OP, DeeJ didn't even look like he wanted to be there. It's sad we have to say that about our community manager but truth is he's a crappy community manager. Much rather preferred Cozmo or some of the YouTubers to have done that.

2 RisposteDeej was only wearing the minimum 15 pieces of flair.
-
3 RisposteHe was more enthusiastic than Cozmo. "Cozmo, how you doing?" *4 seconds of silence... "Huh? Good."
-
Me and a couple of friends got what we needed from that stream. It was an informative introduction to some of the new stuff in the Tower. I'm more of a substance instead of show person so it was perfect for me so much so that three of us have pre-ordered it.
