The Grimoire score, something many of us cherish and have worked so hard to increase or max has been removed from the emblem nameplate insignia? Why?!?! Why do we need to see both base AND light levels on the emblem card? Eventually everyone will be level 40, and people can easily inspect to view this redundant info. Grimoire is a great way to instantly distinguish between more accomplished and engaged players than viewing whether they are base level 30 or 40. I agree with many of my group members here that removing the grimoire from nameplate is not something the endgame community wanted. The now nearly 3000 of us worldwide who have worked, grinded, and spent countless hours perfecting destiny feel this is our identity and would really undermine the incredible tasks we accomplished in literally beating every challenge the game has to offer.
We already are under rewarded with our achievement considering there is really no reward or incentive to obtain the maximum obtainable grimoire, that however has not stopped myself and my fellow group mates from doing it. In addition if what is stated in this post is true, not only will this trend continue, but you will this will take away the very identity my entire group has worked so hard to earned and deserve to keep. Please do the right thing Bungie ^.^
Here are some example Nameplates with the grimoire remaining. (Provided by: Grandmasters of Grimoire)

6 RisposteWhile I would prefer to see it stay, I don't really think it's that big a deal...the year one emblem is basically replacing whatever bragging rights you get from the score. None of the new guardians will have it, and they'll never be able to earn it. And if you have it, it's an instant indicator that you've beaten the hardest stuff year one had to offer.

2 RisposteModificato da Unit215: 8/22/2015 2:19:16 PMIt needs to stay, it's sort of the only thing that people could see to tell you've put in hard work in this game. Edit: that first name tag looks very organised, and attractive.

Bump. This needs to be seen at all times by bungie
-
Third example from that Imgur pic is best. Love it.
-
the first and third example I like very much but I will choose the third
-
Another bump for this. I'm sure they can get all the info on one card.

Xp level shouldn't be front and center on the name plate. It shouldn't even be on it.

Eventually everyone will be level 40, and people can easily inspect to view this redundant info. Same goes for Grimoire.

Please keep grimoire on nameplate

Bump agreed.

I never knew people cared about grimoire labels. Not against them, just would rather have them work on a plan of action so the players can know what to expect from the game. So much, here's this, given it back, now try this. How will the game work going forward? Ascension, no ascension, every few dlcs, never again. How will exotics be handled in the future.

2 RisposteHOW DID YOU GET 250 PUBLIC EVENTS I NEED THE GRIMOIRE?!?
-
3 RisposteGrimoire score is nothing but in game acheivements. It does not reflect skill in the slightest bit. Who cares if it shows? Base level and light level are going to have more impact on how that person performs rather than their Grimoire score
-
I like how bungie is willing to address this but not the unfair foreign pricing.

6 RisposteGrimore proves nothing...... All it proves was that I could run around and pick up dead ghosts.

1 RispondiGrimoire score is nothing but e-peen. Light level will much more important information to have at a glance when determining if fireteam members are geared for specific content. Light level on the nameplate, Grimoire hidden on the inspect screen, just as it should be.

Bump... PLEASE KEEP GRIMOIRE ON THE NAMEPLATE. Imagine this 5 years down the road and the impact it will show in the difference between new players and day 1 players! Let us have this! Thanks and keep up the great work!!
