1 RispondiThere's no way this is actually going to happen but my theory is that you can sacrifice one (primary) or many (secondary/heavy) weapons to infuse a burn on your exotics. So sacrifice a fatebringer to infuse hawkmoon with arc. That would make exotics more unique and usable and put some value/meaning behind your acquired year 1 raid and legendary stuff.

If I had to guess, it's probably just a matter of using weapons parts and another exotic shard like before. They have the system in place already for the first time.

If this is true then I might quit. I have spent a year collecting exotics and upgrading them. I'm not about to do it again.

I don't usually complain or rant about changes made in the game. Weapon tuning.. Whatever. Year one weapons being useless.. So what. I have absolutely no interest in reacquiring all the same exotics in an upgraded year two form. I will await the actual info before passing judgement and jumping to conclusions.

Hopefully you can just upgrade old ones to get access to new versions. But I'm usually never right at predicting anything Bungie does. :P

1 RispondiMy thoughts on this. 1) - year 1 exotics will stop dropping so we will have a unique skin. Year 2 will be the same but look different. 2) If you have to upgrade again then they will change into the new models. 3) There are new versions full stop with different perks and looks. I hope 1 or 3. 2 would suck tbh.

I mean, I dont mind having new and better exotics, and I wouldn't mind getting a new type of ascending option for exotics. But having to collect the same shit I have right now? No thanks. That'd literally mean all this time collecting was wasted time. I was actually just thinking about this recently, because I remembered that exotic armor used to have lower int/dis/str rates before HoW and if this happens again, with no way of upgrading our armor and just forcing us to recollect, then I'm literally done.

I didn't bother to buy another gjallahorn because I have a fully maxed one. if I have to have an extra gjallahorn to upgrade to year 2 damage levels a im gonna be so pissed!! I mean they should have sold the gjally AFTER the presentation (if what im assuming is correct)
