It's because it takes to long for the average gamer to stay online constant for that amount of time. Bungie are forcing players to sit through hours of non stop gaming. Be serious guys if you haven't got a spare few hours your not getting your year one emblem even though most of us have probably spent over £100 on bungee this year. Personally as a dad with kids and a job it's becoming impossible to find the time to complete this.

Skolas is an average of i think 30 minutes or so. Its fairly easy after you get the hang of everything. I mean i only done it once. Nearly got him when he had the solar burn back then.
-
I've killed skolas in 23 minutes. In one try. And we all died near immediately (thank you self res <3)
-
It's fast if you're skilled

Triumphs
-
They aren't forcing anyone to do shit. Let's get that straight. They are saying if you want a special snowflake emblem do this shit. Don't be such a bitch lol
-
It's not forcing players to do it. The moments of triumph are only available to the people who deeply desire it
-
The flawless challenges would completely punish you for things you have zero control over. Some ying yang on your team walks off a ledge and that's it, for example.
-
Nope, but add a 9-0 in Trials and a flawless raider and all other achievements unlocked whilst you are there. You've had long enough
-
The moments of triumphs are for the hardcore players who will do anything for special things not for weak casual players who rarely play and when they do it's the easiest stuff available
-
It's a moment of TRIUMPH. Clearly not for casual gamers.
-
Or at least provide a checkpoint (only if you have completed rounds 1-5)

Modificato da Tundra: 8/18/2015 6:07:14 AMIf skolas is a pain to kill every week then don't do skolas
play VoG normal or something

and if that's to difficult

Then just leave
I will say it wasn't a fun fight, but I'm still glad I beat it, not so much for completing the triumphs finally, but just saying I did beat Skolas. Part of it is team comp., RNG with mines, skill in the game, knowing your subclass and having the right subclass combination as well, and if everyone has gallys, among other things.
-
It's moments of triumph for a reason you can't complete it you don't deserve it
-
Waaaaaaaaaaaaah
-
If it's taking you a long time to beat skolas. Your doing something wrong.
-
It's meant to be a somewhat challenging thing to do, it treatments the people who have gone and done just about everything there is to do in the game. Plus I had it done the moment the triumphs were released so I don't have a problem with it
-
They gave everyone gjallarhorns what more do you need
-
I can do the whole thing in about 40 minutes quite sure a lot of people do that too or like on an hour not that hard if you know what you're doing
-
You should have not said this get ready for the hate comments

3 RisposteOne thing that might help you is that you can fulfill the requirements by joining in on somebody who is already at skolas. If you have a good strategy down you can do it in nude half an hour
-
1 RispondiTook me 2hrs to beat him the first time
-
