It's because it takes to long for the average gamer to stay online constant for that amount of time. Bungie are forcing players to sit through hours of non stop gaming. Be serious guys if you haven't got a spare few hours your not getting your year one emblem even though most of us have probably spent over £100 on bungee this year. Personally as a dad with kids and a job it's becoming impossible to find the time to complete this.

Absolutely not. I need this challenge. Also, I need help with the 35 poe, if anyone is willing to help a guardian out for it, I'm on ps4
-
No its easy, beat him first try today. It was my first time ever stepping into a 35 POE.
-
1 Rispondi1 hour and 15 minutes. Thats all skolas should take. You need to find players who know what they are doing to help you through. Or watch youtube to learn how to beat it easily.
-
3 Risposteyou see, you said an average gamer doesn't have the time, look man, the triumphs aren't really there for an average gamer. It's supposed to be rewarding, if you know what I mean.
-
Hours? From beginning to end a lvl 35 PoE with decent players takes at most an hour and a half. Not trying to sound like an elitist but it's really not something you should be stuck on for more than 2 hours
-
9 RisposteThey should add lighthouse to it

82 RisposteModificato da Xtake a breakX: 8/16/2015 9:56:58 PMIn my opinion you could've got all this done when the dark below came out and. it's so easy it's ridiculous. Things to add to really be legendary. Add: -Flawless raider - Flawless trials -Collect all ghost -Solo a nightfall -Must be A minimum ranked 3 for all fractions -Exchange a certain amount material, strange coins, motes of light let's say 50 of each type. And you will receive a token of triumph which can be redeemed for the emblem. Add this to what is already in place for the moments of triumph, This would set us apart from the kids that don't play regularly. What do you guys think ? Casuals don't deserve a veteran emblem easy as that it's earned not given. It's Moments of triumph not moments of average
-
It takes less than an hour. Hardly long enough to classify hours of time.
-
The "average" player cannot "become legend"
-
I beat it once for this reason... it took me less than an hour... we didn't even die
-
I did it my first time. Yeah it was long I'll never do it again unless some one ask me to run with them. I sure as hell won't be requesting to strike this game mode up
-
I have gamed with Lawyers, Doctors and college professors who are parents with children of various ages who have beaten Skolas. It's a state of mind trying to conquer Skolas, I find that if your compelled to defeat him in a timely quick manner, it's not going to happen. If you haven't downed him in 3.5hrs, quit and try again another time. Beating lvl 35 is a right of passage for your triumph emblem and the achievement is meaningless if you can't complete that task. Your lucky that going Flawless in Trials of Osiris isn't part of the Triumph emblem tree, but Bungie knows not everyone has world class Crucible players on their friends list, so they spared us the misery of that aspect of the game. Skolas is very beatable and should be a requirement to achieve your Triumph Emblem.

Honestly after you get in a rhythm, Skolas dies in less than 10 minutes. It gets hectic between mines and the sickness and even my team and I screw up from time to time. Just hit and move, hit and move. We usually finish a 35 POE in around an hour. I know not everybody does this and there are those who do it faster. If you have Gjallarhorn, which after this past weekend you should, it makes it easier. Just synth one at a time. Kill enemies that spawn BEFORE continuing on Skolas. Pass the sickness when you have around 10 seconds left. Snipe Skolas to near half health then after adds are killed, light him up with heavy. Pass the sickness for the mines and make sure the next person stays with the sick person to take it. Repeat around 1/4 health for second mine set.

Stop being a scrub

"forcing players" yea, okay.
forcing players to sit through hours of non stop gaming.
Incredible.

1 RispondiDid the entire prison in less than 90mins with one person who's never done it, and another member who has - its not terribly hard or time consuming.

Cry more

1 RispondiGet bent you noob can't beat skolas then U ain't worthy

I'm not one of those people that tell people to "git gud," but a team of three people with two having Skolas experience and you should be able to complete it in an hour and a half or less. I played with two people who had no prior Skolas experience Sunday and we finished it in 3 hours. And that length was due to some real glitch stuff happening and Skolas moving into areas he never goes to ala Crota. With the small arms modifier this week, it will be even quicker. Your main melee worry for lightswitch is the one sword captain that only comes out when adds spawn and comes out the same place every time. Everyone else you can melt due to small arms. And even him if you avoid him long enough. I hope you get it done before there's no more time Guardian. Good luck.
-
imagine thinking the emblem will be worth something.. itl be as meaningless as the flawless emblem is since every tom, dick and harry will have it xD
-
Why? that emblem sucks anyway. Not worth my time either way.
-
It's not that hard... if you know how to communicate and play as a team. If you're some loaner shut in with no friends with a shit personality, yeah, I can see where it would get painful. And the 35 Skolas would be a bitch too.
-
takes such a long time with 3 gallys. i see what you mean. Gally cant solve the first 4 rounds, but to be honest, they aren't the most difficult things in the game. Kinda
-
Skolas is an average of i think 30 minutes or so. Its fairly easy after you get the hang of everything. I mean i only done it once. Nearly got him when he had the solar burn back then.
