That feel when Xur ruins exotics
Rarest weapons in the game turned into a pawn item. I have been confused since day 1 as to why there is an exotics vendor. IMO, if Xur wants to sell exotics, it should have been engrams only, and not an unlimited supply either. Let's say he brings two engrams a week, and you can buy each up to three times. THAT'S IT!!! Because you know, exotics should be, well, exotic, hard-to-get weapons and gear. But whatever, I'm ranting on and on about something Bungie will never consider.
LOL-ing at the fact everyone is getting butthurt over an opinion. If I could take out the RNG factor all together I would. Just trying to give a suggestion to what I feel could be a legitimate change to Xur. Although I would love to see all exotics have a bounty to them.

4 RisposteWhy not come up with a new class of weapons, say a "blue moon class", weapons so rare they are only seen once in a..well you know, not obtainable thru quests or chests, just straight up low weighted random drops, that'd make ya feel like ya had something a little more special yeah? I'd like it, maybe have 1 gun type each and on par with raid weapons

Agreed even though I've purchased some of my exotics from him. Xur defeats the purpose of RNG. Gjallarhorn is no longer a (sort of) trophy

So what I get out of this is you're bitching because people who have played and played and played, but have yet to get a ghally fi ally get it. They actually had to earn their coins to get it. Unlike most others who got lucky with RNG.

2 RisposteI agree in part. But I think the idea of Bungie nerfing these weapons in the near future is a more pertinent topic. They let Xur sell Gally because in three weeks it's going to be practically worthless. That's the real tragedy: Veteran players will have the worst gear instead of the best.

3 RisposteLet me give you a simple example of why Xur exists. Because when you are starting out, that is going to be your first taste of an exotic. I bought Suros from him (could have bought gjallarhorn, but passed on it like many did) and that was my first exotic. He exists to give people a little boost forward in the game. I bought destiny on PS4 a week ago after having been playing it on Xbox since beta. Guess what my first exotic was. Plan C. Guess what I bought today on PS4. Gjallarhorn. Xur is not there for the long term players. He is there for the new players.

But I will make it easier for you: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/exotic A parrot is an exotic bird but definitely not rare where it comes from, in some countries they are even a plague. In Destiny exotic stands for the unusual perks those weapons and armor have. Stop getting upset about a video game, there's more important stuff to worry about in life.
