Has XUR failed you this week?
For me and Im pretty sure for a lot of other, Xur has not failed me mainly because he's selling the Gjallarhorn!!!

Depends on which gamertag I play on. One I'd say no because that's my beta gt and I have everything anyway, nothing he could sell I'd need. The second gamertag I've played on for 4 mos, I have the things important to me, he may have something, but for the most part he has nothing I need. For the 3rd gamertag, yes, he was a disappointment. I've been playing on that GT for 3 weeks and I'm looking for 3 exotics in particular and this is the 3rd week he hasn't helped me at all.

2 RisposteThere is no failing in Xûr, his main goal is to help newer players gear up for bigger tasks. So if people who have played a lot and have almost every exotic, he isn't failing me, he has already helped me by giving me the chance to go out and raid for exotics instead. Xûr sold armour that let me do VoG which awarded me an exotic. Please don't take this the wrong way but you seem like a newish player so Xûr obviously doesn't disappoint

4 RisposteNope, Xur exists to give players a chance to obtain Exotics they have not acquired randomly. The only weapons Xur will not sell are those available through Exotic bounties, or unique game quests, such as a Raid (e.g., Fang, Fate, etc.) or challenge (e.g., Eris gauntlets, PoE gifts, etc.) I agree with this system.

1 RispondiHell no. Gjallahorn and Titan Ruin Wings from the engram. Gauntlets allow me to find heavy more often and carry more when I do. Talk about the perfect combination! Although I suppose Rahool had some input on the latter as well... Oh, and tonight I got Hopscotch Pilgrim from Vanguard Dragon. Pretty good weekend,
