Actually the only weapons you can say you earned are the exotic bounty ones. You had to do stuff to progress through the quest line. And i guess xurning as well since you had to stuff to get the coins.

And if you really want to think deeply into it, the people who play the weekly every week to get coins to buy something has actually "earned" it more than people who get it in drops. It's like money. You work an hour and make $40, you've earned that money. Or you could get $40 in a random birthday card. You don't earn anything that's just givin to you. So to the people who are complaining about gjallarhorn being sold. Buck up and shut up. You don't have any more of a right to have something than anyone else. The majority of the people complaining I garuntee are 15 years of age or under and don't even understand what "earning" anything even means. You type of people are what is staining this community and ruining it for the others who just want to play and enjoy themselves.

What bungie should have done is increase your chances every time you do a raid starting at like 1% to where eventually you will get it. That way you earn it but everyone will be guaranteed to get it if they play enough... thoughts?
