What is Bungies rationale for Sony exclusive content?
Below is a summary of what PS users are getting exclusively. I don't understand the commercial reasons for this other than Sony has been co funding the project. it's so bloody annoying.
The Taken King will have time-limited exclusives for PlayStation platforms, which will last until late-2016. These include the new strike "The Echo Chamber", a new Crucible map "Sector 618", an exotic scout rifle ("The Jade Rabbit"), and a legendary gear set for each class: Hesperos (Titan), Azoth Bend (Warlock), and Neuroghast (Hunter)

This was something I was a little upset about back when Destiny first released, but now that we are getting the PS content from Year 1 soon, I've just accepted the fact that we will be one year behind on all the Sony Exclusives. So the way I look at it, the Hawkmoon, Monte Carlo, and whatever other PS exclusives will be "new" to me. I've already done the hard part of waiting one year.

Mostly it's a Sony thing, they're probably paying Bungie more to get exclusives to reel in players to buy their systems of course.

Money. The real issue is the year long exclusivity. By the time jade rabbit will be droppable for me, destiny 2 will probably be out or have a release sate quite soon.

why don't you xbox people write to Microsoft instead and complain since they are the ones that decided NOT to fork out a little extra cash to get the extra content. Both Sony and Microsoft had the opportunity. Sony took it, Microsoft did not. END OF DISCUSSION It had nothing to do with Bungie favoring Sony, it is a business deal that Micrsoft opted out of

31 RisposteI like how people are mentioning the game console and entertainment system thing on the boxes for the two consoles saying ps is dominant because it's a "gaming console" not an entertainment system. Laugh every time ;) PS couldn't run Titanfall :P so much for being a game console. Ps tried to get Titanfall and actually got the project started but it flopped hard since the system couldn't even handle it. Thus... Back to Xbox exclusive haha :)
