Below is a summary of what PS users are getting exclusively. I don't understand the commercial reasons for this other than Sony has been co funding the project. it's so bloody annoying.
The Taken King will have time-limited exclusives for PlayStation platforms, which will last until late-2016. These include the new strike "The Echo Chamber", a new Crucible map "Sector 618", an exotic scout rifle ("The Jade Rabbit"), and a legendary gear set for each class: Hesperos (Titan), Azoth Bend (Warlock), and Neuroghast (Hunter)

Ok, let's imagine the new Call of Duty game had this kind of exclusivity for Xbox users How the Xbox view this situation according to what's happening with destiny: The DLC's would be released on Xbox first, then a year later on Playstation. How I see it: The DLC's would be released at the same time on both consoles, however, the Xbox client base would all get a new shader and weapon exclusive until the games first anniversary - maybe one or two multiplayer maps too. Now, that seems about right if Microsoft paid Activision for that, just like Sony paid for this.

1 RispondiJust get a ps4.. Easy. Gtfo
-
5 Risposte" a better destiny Experience with playstation" they told you that it would be a better experience when they were advertising the game. It's your fault that you didn't listen and bought an xbox

Dat cash money

2 RisposteI think PS4 is superior with destiny being its launch game and should continue to have Sony exclusive content. PS4 is more heavily played by adults compared to the kids on XBOX so that's why I always read these comments about it not being fair that Sony has it and Microsoft doesn't.. Keep up the good work Sony/Bungie!

More money
-
Why are grown adults still in tears over exclusives? I hate to see how you reacted when your dog passed away.. still wearing a diaper too?
-
Literally just money. It's amazing it's currently only limited to ps exclusives and the one red bull tie-in. The fact that we aren't in candy crush tier microtransaction hell is a miracle, especially since blind fanboys and youtubers actually support the idea that they should get nickeled and dimed at every opportunity.

Supply and demand

This should just about sum it up.

2 RisposteTwo guys walk into Bungies Bar and Grill. Sony says pour me a shot of Jack, Microsoft says hey me too, then Sony says I'll have a shot of Jose as well and Microsoft says nah I'm good. Jose= exclusive content.
now I need a beer lol
It's this wonderful thing called business

2 RisposteWell let's see Microsoft Xbox360 have a lot of exclusives they paid for which made them the better for online gaming and exclusives as well. SONY PS3 didn't have that many. So now the next Gen systems are out Sony upped the Ante and paid for more exclusives to draw Xbox customers over it's basic business Supply and DEMAND we have this and guess what you Xbox owners won't for awhile. Xbox has Tomb Raider. PS4 will see it later. It's like everyone else in life too you want it bad enough you'll pay for it.
-
Umm, Sony invested money that Microsoft did not. What would be best, would be to allow Microsoft to get into the act for Destiny 2. Then each system could have year long exclusives, and it would sting less. Also with the increased investment they could both run console deals to help bring Destiny out of old Gen to current Gen only. Allowing them go free up resources currently being utilized for the old Gen systems. As well as eliminating the limitations that old systems place on Destiny.

4 RisposteBungie's rationale is that they like money and they live in the real world.... What's your rationale for Bungie turning down free money? Let me guess, to make you happy?
-
2 RisposteIt's not that...at least I don't think so. For years Bungie was a Microsoft only company. With the new found freedom to not be just a exclusive company they wanted to be appealing to Sony fans. I don't know for fact but if I owned a gaming company I would want to appeal to the larger fan base.

Modificato da Fresh Suggs: 8/11/2015 7:00:38 PMBungie is a developer. Activision (publisher) is responsible for the promotions and exclusives.
-
Money...that's their rationale...they're a company dude.
-
This is part of business. Dont like it? Buy a ps4/ps3, this is exactly what they are for.
