Say that to pulse rifles . I can easily wreck with a bad juju . I don't have a hopscotch but I've eaten plenty two bursts from that monster .

Pulse Rifles have their spot if your aim is true you can most definitely compete w. Those weapons. Those weapons mostly reign superior because you can still quickly without predominantly headshots. You can still kill efficiently with mostly body shots. That's what makes them so good to use. They're godly. Especially being that it seems like random 111's on the Last Word is a 50/50 occurrence... The Messenger is one of the best weapons in the crucible right now, hands down...after the patch, it's going to be even better. Hopefully the low impact pulse rifles will find their place too. Bad JuJu I think is a fantastic weapon right now too. I do exceptionally well in Trials w. It. Builds my super hella quick, & I shut down Last Word & Thorn users consistently. Obviously Red Death is one of the best guns in the game right now too. It seemed to have gotten pretty famous for a minute but as disappeared back into the shadows. Idk why, it's healing ability is truly life saving on so many occasions. I don't think thorn & last word are going to see any less use after the patch. well, there will be less use of other weapons have some effectiveness back, but I think they're still gonna be the go-to weapons now that everybody's gotten a taste of how powerful they were. What people don't realize is that there hasn't been in a hand cannon buff in ages ... That these hand cannons were still amazing far before the great Auto Rifle nerf...hand cannons actually got a nerf in that same patch ... they were already fantastic weapons, but there were other VIABLE options ... Any high impact auto rifle. Shit even low impact ones were great if you had solid aim compared to now ... The Last Word & Thorn didn't get some buff when autos got nerfed ... They just became the only weapons could kill w. Such efficiency. They did bring pulse rifles up there, but they're obviously not as good. Although I gotta say, when The Messenger was first introduced to the Crucible I'd never been 2 shotted so many times in a game in my life during that first Iron Banner after Trials. It was brutal. Your aim has to be true to get that though. You gotta really be trained on the head. I was using The Scholar tonight though in Skirmish for awhile & I was really doing quite well. Shit does 97 a headshot w. Reactive Reload. I was 2 shotting people. It was pretty vicious. I cannot WAIT until 2.0. Hopefully my Scholar will have a better chance ... With Thorn's burn stacking 5x, it's going to be worse than before I think. Damage may be cut 1/3, but it's gonna stack ... Team shots are going to be the most ridiculous shit ever. It's gonna suck. & Last Word w. More accuracy from the hip ... Ok, they say they're fixing the random 111's, but now it's gonna be more accurate from the hip which will promise 111's...so idk if it's gonna make much of a difference. I guess we'll see. Only time will tell. I'm just sincerely, [b]sincerely[/b] hoping that 2.0 will restore balance & weapon variety in the crucible.

Actually, lord high fixer depending on your perks out does the thorn and especially TLW in damage per shot, thorn takes 3 body shots to kill from mid range where as lord high fixer takes 2 and TLW is really just a close range hand cannon

Guess what? It's the opposite. They are actually the weapons that suck. Why? Because Thorn and TLW are powerful weapons. That doesn't make them the best. Use what you do best with.

Scholar in combined arms > any other primary weapon. Those two exotic hand cannons are only good for close quarters which is everything but combined arms
