Just wondering if we got cheated out of another weapon or not.
EDIT: Everyone who is saying we were never promised this gun is sadly mistaken. If you're not a day one player you might not remember but the gun was in the game at release.
http://m.ign.com/wikis/destiny/Exotic_Bounties (Link to all exotic bounties at release...FOAF is there)
It was taken out for an unknown reason but it was always promised to return after you forked out more money in overpriced DLCs.
The only man in the world right now with this gun is a man with cancer. This is in no way meant to offend him because I personally know the horror of cancer firsthand. However people are saying that this gun was made for him and only for him. This is also wrong. This was a gun taken out of the game and given back in to him as a PR gesture. I think this was awesome but the gun has been exclusive long enough imo. Considering this gun won't save his life and he probably doesn't even care for it too much anymore I just wanted to know when this gun was going to be public. As of now there is apparently no news on it other than "keep wasting money on our shitty, overpriced DLC and there's a chance it might come in it but probably not." I think the lack of communication on bungies part for this and many other things is abysmal.

No it wasn't, the three bounties were generally invective, super good advice, and bad ju ju. With thorn chucked in every now and again. There was never a fate of all fools bounty.

Oh no........ It's retarded.

11 RisposteModificato da AWESOME DUDE NJS: 8/10/2015 10:42:58 AMI'm tired of people saying let him keep it. First of all, there is no way he is the only person with brain cancer, so why'd did they not get it? Answer is there was a post about it, maybe an innocent post, but it attracted attention. What about a solider who stepped on an IED, losing both legs and multiple organs, barely hanging on to life, and the only thing keeping him sane is destiny. Why didn't he/she get the gun? What about a child who loves destiny, and is diagnosed with cancer, with only a couple months to live, the only thing he wants is to use to fate of all fools. His family assured him that the gun will be coming to the public. So he keeps playing, and keeps dying on the inside, with hope that he'll be able to use the fate of all fools. Finally, he passes, without being able to use the fate of all fools. Maybe it become available to the public after his death, or maybe it doesn't at all. Either way he never got his death wish fulfilled. The point is, the only reason he got the gun because there was a post about it, a post that bungie saw and gifted him the weapon. But, if there was another post about anyone else in a similar position, where they are having a life crisis and love destiny to a point where it helps them with their problem, they probably would've gotten the weapon. But they didn't go public about it, they kept the problems to themselves and their families, the guy didn't

2 Rispostethe weapon was data mined which means it could just be leftover code. we might never get it as one person has recieved this weapon. that person had brain surgery and was using destiny to help him recover and bungie gave him the weapon. if bungie makes it possible to get the weapon and alot of people get it it kinda makes the guy who got it first feel less special.

1 Rispondiwell, I'm poor and living check to check. it would mean a lot and change my life if bungie gave me an exclusive gun. please heed my prayers.

3 RisposteLol , I'm sorry can somebody please post a link that tell us we were getting the FOAF. Anything?? This is getting ridiculous.
-
2 RisposteWell.. Bungie never said that we were getting it in the HoW or TTK (for now)..
-
2 RisposteThe taken king. They've added bounties to ToO and most likely you will get the exotic bounty for it there.

11 RisposteDon't be a dick -blam!-tard. No one was cheated out of anything. Despite Bungie's extremely poor handling of the weapons in this game, Fate of All Fools should stay exclusive to that one person who got it. As much as I myself would like to have it, FoAF needs to stay one of a kind. Bungie can get off their asses and make another exotic for us. You and all the other morons demanding this gun make me feel like you're the type of people who would have sued the airline companies after their planes hit the World Trade Center after 9/11 because a family member died. You're not entitled to shit.

We weren't cheated out of anything? The fate of all fools was never given a release date and still hasn't. It was given to one person so far that's all we know. I don't understand how we were cheated.
-
Probably TTK
-
I would love to have the gun but I understand that it is exclusive to that one guy who survived multiple brain surgeries. Where did bungie ever officially say we are getting FoaF?

2 RisposteModificato da Freyja-1: 8/9/2015 1:33:27 PMI know how to obtain it. -First you need to purchase the collector's edition of The Taken King, whether or not you already own Destiny and the season pass content. -Then you have to go flawless in Trials consecutively on all three characters using Khovstov as your primary- lose once, and you'll have to start over. -You'll then need to purchase two Gjallarhorns next time Xur sells it with the flawless emblem equipped. -IMPORTANT: The Trials portion must be completed within the same weekend. -Before Xur leaves the Tower, you must fully level both Gjallarhorns. One Gjallarhorn, however, must be maxed using the exotic shard from the other. Once finished, return to Xur. -Purchase 200 heavy synths with your purchased Gjallarhorn and the flawless emblem equipped. -A text box will open in which you must enter the password:
$$$MONEY$$$
-Once entered, you will be taken to the PSN Marketplace, for Fate of All Fools will be a PS timed exclusive, and you will be prompted to purchase the weapon for $20, or €20. Failure to purchase it at this time will wipe all Destiny saved content from your console. -Alternatively, you could just go to Bungie headquarters and throw money at Luke Smith.
#satire I am actually extremely excited about The Taken King. Let's see how many jimmies I rustle with this comment.
