Whats the worst war
When I think of the worst wars these are the first ones that come to mind.

WW1 was way worse than WW2. The trench warfare was hell on earth. Not to mention the whole holocaust wasn't actually part of the second ww just a motivational aspect.

World War I, it's called the war to end all wars for a reason. At the time it was the turn of century, new technologies where being built that changed how warfare was fought, and it was where this time it was the world against each other. Just think about this, in the past war has seen as a thing of honor, but now in WWI you are stuck in a trench with rampant diseases with lack of food and clean water. If you stick your head out of the trench you are at risk of getting shot by the other trenches sniper, and if you do a charge at the other trench you have a risk of getting hosed down by Machine Gun fire. Even if you are really unlucky, you might just get bombed by aircraft. This is why World War I is barely talked about by historians, in history classes or in general because it was so shitty.
