In PvE, it did 8173 damage PER SHOT to an ultra (mini boss) and 16,346 damage to a tier one enemies. (Red bar enemies).
This thing has INSANE damage output, almost, if not more, than the infamous Gjallarhorn.

Upgrade Path:
Here's a look at Sleeper Simulant's upgrade path, charting how the gun grows as you level it up. Like all new exotics, Sleeper Simulant has an intrinsic property that is unlocked immediately upon acquisition, helping to make it stand out right from the start.
Intrinsic properties (COMES AUTOMATICALLY UNLOCKED):
Projectile over-penetrates enemies and will ricochet once. Projectile capable of dealing precision damage
Barrel column upgrades:
CQB Ballistics - Bonus to Stability
Linear Compensator - Bonus to Range, straighter recoil, bonus to Impact. Reduced Stability.
Accurized Ballistics - Bonus to Range, bonus to Impact. Better Target Acquisition. Reduced Stability.
Support Perk:
Just a Scratch - Reduces aim deflection on incoming rounds while you're aiming with the weapon. Helps the wielder stay on target during the long charge up.
Stat upgrades:
Speed Reload - faster reload speed
Perfect Balance - Better Stability
Single Point Sling - Ready the weapon faster, and faster move speed while aiming.
Exotic Perk:
[Final name TBD] - Increases bounce count of projectile to 5.

Nah, I'm pretty sure 2 Gjallarhorn rounds could kill that ogre easy. But guess now we know why they nerfing G-horn for this "icebreaker" heavy

8 RisposteModificato da BrokenLance: 8/7/2015 10:51:33 PMhate to be a jerk... will be a nice toy but... not impressed at all. looks like a sniper fusion in your heavy slot. cool and all but we already got a sniper fusion and its pretty sweet and doesn't rely on scant heavy ammo to do its thing. And its arc, which is a popular burn and the shield of choice for the most annoying enemies.

It looked like an in between of a rocket and LMG. It's a one hit kill like a rocket, but it's also a hit scan rather than projectile. So no one can dodge it, if you miss it's your fault

4 RisposteMust admit to being a bit underwhelmed with that footage. Literally just a fusion rifle which does more damage. Nothing fancy about the look or how it charges. The exotic perk better be good (I'm assuming that one wasn't fully leveled).

Looks neat. I'd go after it just because it's a heavy. The beam, however, looks like a copy of some early season Star Trek: the Next Generation graphic design and should be enhanced. Maybe boost the damage as well.

Imagine in the crucible, you pop a precision kill with it and the laser beams that bounce off track other nearby enemy players to their heads. Each precision beam would do 250 damage while the main shot would do 700. That would be a beautiful weapon.

1 RispondiWhat I thought was interesting was the Heavy Weapon icon was a regular Fusion Rifle silhouette. What some people thought Sleeper Simulant was in previous videos turns out to be something else entirely. It could actually be a Sword-type Heavy. We'll have to wait and see.
