Dear parents of destiny
Please calm your children before joining a group or keep your mic muted until you need to speak.
Nobody wants to hear you screaming to them or them screaming.

40 RisposteAs a father who plays Destiny, I'll tell you this; I try to keep my kids as calm as possible, I try and get them to relax and chill because it's normally their nap time or bed time. But when I do play, don't you dare think for a second I'm going to make them stop being kids so that somebody I don't know can feel more comfortable. They enjoy watching me play, and "playing" with me, they're my cheer squad, so don't for a second think that if you and I are in a party together that I'm going to quiet them down. Remember, you can get booted or abandoned, I got my kids who like to talk to the voices in the TV. Who's more lonely?

1 RispondiAs a 27 year old woman with no kids, I always feel bad for the kids... Not the parent... I would be enjoying my kids if I had any instead of playing games... That being said I know life happens kids might be put down for nap and wake up... So idk I think this post is a little harsh.. Life happens

2 RisposteI think if I was a child... Selfish as they are. I would want my parent/s full attention, rather than watching them do something I don't really understand. Video gaming is a past time and is best suited when no distractions are present. I'm sure a therapist would have a field day with parents that multitask their gaming with their nurturing, but who's to judge. I'm sure drinking vodka would be a worse hobby.

I've had a guy in my group do that and I'll take it 7 days a week over the: teen whose mom wants him to take out the trash; headbanger with death metal going on in the background; stoner firing up a bong and coughing like he's got tb; dude bro with all his buddies at the frat house yelling and screaming in the background.

All I see are irresponsible asshats who yell at their mothers or wives to calm the kids down. Not al are like this, but the level of responsibility in parents has decreased because we are in that generation now. You can't really tell them anything, because they get on some mighty high horse of parenthood and get offended as if they were parent of the year. More and more grandparents are becoming the real mother and father of some kids because of these pricks who are more concerned with their k/d then their belligerent children.
