You need to learn how to invest your money.
I can't believe this community.
Edit 1: okay here's my argument. But first of all thank you to that 12% of the community who commented with positive feedback
And thanks to that other 88% who weren't afraid to said how they feel. Thank you all for your attribution to this post.
I love destiny guys, when destiny dropped I was mind -blam!-ing blown, it's Lore is beautiful, it's addicting!! And so I continue to say, that the words "I don't like destiny" never came out of my mouth.
It's unbelievable how most of you reacted to this thread and are telling me shit for saying not to preorder the new DLC. Luke smith came out making fun of us for being so gullible. That was a dick move from him! I'm a proud guy and I didn't tolerate his bullshit. He opened my eyes because what he said was true, we're stupid enough to carelessly buy shit based on expectation from a trailer and not knowing the amount of content that comes with it. They're not giving us any content that's the reason why I'm asking you to wait on it. We all know this game lacks content.
Yes the new trailer just dropped and I admit, that space war looks cool as shit.
But wait....
You mean the new trailer that has content that we've already seen? Look at it, the first half of it is vanilla destiny content..but wait.. The vanilla destiny that won't mean shit after the taken king drops?? This is what I mean, can't you guys see? You're just giving them money.
But hopefully I'm wrong, hopefully everything I'm saying is wrong and the taken King turns out to be such a badass game that people come back to this post and give me shit about it. I will admit fault. I'm hoping the best for this game to keep going, but I refuse to throw money at my screen for a stupid emote. Where's your pride?
I like destiny I'm not mad and I could care less on what you spend your money on. But it's because of people who waste their stupid money on stupid emotes and a random shader and emblem that they're gonna cut content back and then sell it to us as DLCs open your damn eyes. I love this game, and just like thousands of you I was -blam!-ing pissed off when house of wolves dropped and there was no raid... Oh but we never promised a raid... -blam!-ing bullshit!
40 dollars is nothing. But why would you waste $80 on a game that you already spent $100 plus on? That's unnecessary. But honestly, Do as you please I can really careless
And no I'm not poor
And no Luke did not -blam!- my wife, for I am 21 years old and I'm not considering getting married just yet.
And for that kid that called me a stupid Mexican, don't be so ignorant.

Because people like you can't take a joke. Seriously, lighten the -blam!- up

16 RisposteEven if the best game in the world was made by Hitler, I'd still play it. I don't care enough about some corporate douchenut talking light shit. I mean, yeah, sure, he's a twat, but will it affect the expansion? No. Will it affect whether or not I enjoy it? No. And will avoiding the purchase teach him a lesson? You bet your ass it won't.
-
6 RisposteJust curious why do you care what people spend money on? Is it just for your own curiosity? I'm getting because I still see potential in this game and I'm not ready to give it up. I admit that there were some screw ups but it takes time in getting a game just right yes it could have been cheaper, but to be fair I don't think bungie in a whole actually comes up with the the prices. I'll say the dark below didn't go to well but going off of the house of wolves I'm a little excited for the taken king

He's apologised.....it's a game and if what I seen and read about TTK is true then it's gonna be worth every penny.

Modificato da iWasBorn2bLegit: 8/8/2015 9:40:08 AMIt's definitely high cost for a videogame, but you voluntarily purchase it. It's simple really, if you want to enjoy it, it'll cost you $40. If you don't want to enjoy it, you pay nothing. Sucks that it costs so much relatively speaking, but Bungie knows they have a great game and will charge for expansions accordingly. Business is business.

2 RisposteI still can't believe people can't use 3rd grade reading comprehension.

The problem i have with his comments is that he was completely right. there are so many gamers that are willing to throw money at what is really a sub par dlc for almost the full price of a game. many of the gamers in destiny are completely off their rockers and don't have much sense. I have them so many chances to get it together and all they did was find ways to deter the player. so many bugs went unchecked for so long. Its been a month since i picked up the game and im glad. this fall has such an incredible line up of games. its funny out of everyone on my list only one person defends this game. Its more fun to come to the forums and watch all of the crazies than it is to play.

3 RisposteBasically your argument is that if I don't like the waiter it should stop me from enjoying the meal I ordered?
-
I have a job, I make money, I spend most of my money on bills and food, the rest on fun. I find Destiny fun, I spend money on it.
-
You do care, a lot actually. So don't say you don't. And buying emotes and stuff like that is stupid. I'm just getting the 40 dollar expansion because I want new stuff to do. Would prefer to use old weapons but can always get new ones. Raid wasn't promised in HOW and even if it was doesn't matter because POE is just as entertaining and trials is just a bonus.

I'm seeing all this "luke redeemed himself" shit, I gotta say, no he didn't, he saw what happened when destiny came out, and used that logic with TTK, what he said -blam!--ing angered the hell out of me, nothing he can do will make me forget that. The 'rewards' in return are nothing, people can buy those who haven't played year one, we're getting, what? an emblem? oooh cool, really worth doing all that grinding. Oh, the guns I also got are going to be shit? <sigh> well it is somewhat of a mmo I guess this is to be expected. Oh it's not coming to 360? Well, I don't have the digital edition to upgrade 360 to Xbone, what do I do now? I guess when we take so much dick, we get used to be -blam!-ed...

Modificato da o0DELTA FORCE0o: 8/8/2015 9:17:39 AMFirst off I was never offended by that text based interview which was easily taken out of context. So that is for starters. Secondly I buy games not because the developer is super cool and has the best PR campaign in the world. But because I happen to like the game. If the following is why you buy games then you are looking for a friend and not necessarily a game. And lastly why is this still a thing? Get over it, learn to move on. You realize you are holding a grudge over a video game right? There are probably few things that rate lower on being a sad individual scale.
-
You have obviously not been keeping up with all the media and interviews coming out of gamescom, Luke has more than redeemed himself and TTK is looking mighty fine. Even the damn sites that HATED the vanilla game are loving TTK
-
Wait what's your argument? What are you saying? That it will be bad or its a waste of money? Both? I dunno. I like this game. This community is pretty cool. They make good art and comics I can giggle at. Taken king has a rail gun and I can shoot satan with it ...so. Seems fine to me.

If it ain't a dick, don't take it so hard.

1 RispondiBecause Luke? Oh just shut up already and let me play the damn game. People these days can't take a game for a game.
-
I haven't preorder yet but I still want to because it actually looks good plus this time around I'm not putting all my time to it. When it comes November my time will go to black ops 3 because this time around this years COD won't be garbage like last years.
-
It depends what 40 or 80 means to you in disposable income. Some are really upset that £ 40 is higher than $ 40. Maybe some people dont care and would spend 40 casually most nights anyway.
-
I preordered and am excited for ttk :)

People buy new cars that depreciate by a third the moment they leave the garage. Nobody tells the car manufacturers that they treat those consumers like chumps. People buy in the knowledge that if they sell next month they won't get the full value back. People are attracted to shiny things, new things, no matter their previous treatment. And people will always give a second chance!
