So you want to use the same guns for the next 9 years?
English
-
I've been using the halo pistol for more than 9 years, never stoped you from picking up a rail gun.
-
Modificato da FLEXX: 8/5/2015 5:12:23 PMHalo doesn't have similar MMO aspect like destiny? There was no levels on guns in halo.
-
Your statement is true, but unconstructive as it implys that player choice and leveling systems are incompatible, which is false.
-
Modificato da Eyes Alive: 8/5/2015 4:48:44 PMNot really, But what is so wrong with being able to use 2 of your favorite guns for 9 years if you want to? They all shoot bullets...They all kill enemies...Why does everyone not realize that it DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR GAME FOR ME USING THE SAME GUN. Maybe I am a creature of comfort but it's nice having guns you like to shoot. I'm sure there will be new guns that are good and I will probably use them but when an arc burn nightfall comes around I'd like to be able to pull out my Fatebringer and cut through them like butter.
-
You can use them, so why are you complaning? Really, use reason and commen sense.
-
Really? You don't understand that not being able to level them up will put them at a disadvantage? How thick are you?
-
No i understand that. But what do you expect to use a "vanila" weapon 3 years from now efficeientlty? Thats just dumb and very nieve. You fail to understand the "point" im trying to make.
-
Modificato da FLEXX: 8/5/2015 4:52:12 PMYeah the guns are still useable but there will always be stronger guns as level increases. Our current guns are level 20, im pretty sure level 30 and so forth guns will come out and those of course will be stronger due to higher levels.
-
Yep, but that's just obvious. And, people just wont understand. I wish i still had my dr.nope. lol had the best gun descripction lol.
-
For crucible your guns wont go obsolete unless its IB or ToO. But PVE needs to change dont body wants the same ol BS, thats why everyone complaining about crotas end raid because it sucks so much.
-
I don't, but I would absolutely love the ability to choose for myself. Apparently I'm asking for the impossible
-
Im pretty sure attack power in crucible dont matter so yeah you will still be able to use it
-
Yeah, but crucible is a small portion of the game. Unless you are a diehard crucible only player, your gear is obsolete. You have no choice but to upgrade to whatever gear Bungie felt you would love, even if you absolutely hate it. This is my issue. Sure, I can still use it in crucible, but the rest of the game it's garbage. I'm so glad Bungie makes the decisions for me.
-
Modificato da FLEXX: 8/5/2015 4:58:32 PMWell why would you want to use a level 20 gear in a level 30 content. Learn to mmo man. Its going to change every year, if your not happy then leave. The farther you move in the game the better the gun and gear you get, so you have to let go of old guns. Why arnt you complaining green and rare gear are obsolete compared to legendary gear?
-
Because legendary is max gear and ascending it was possible. I've never played, or heard, of an MMO with yearly weaponry. Change is good but choice is better. If this was the end goal, then ascending should never be made possible. I enjoy the game, but I don't like their consistent blundering
-
I do know how to MMO. You are missing my point. I'm saying that Bungie is taking away my ability to choose for myself by not allowing me to keep my previous gear, thus making it mostly worthless.
-
You can keep it? Nobody said you can't use it either. For crota end raid, crota boots were better for whoever swordbearer because it gave you more agility. Same thing for higher content that will be coming out, level 30-35 weapons will be better to complete that objective. You need to understand that the level cap is not going to be 20 no more, its a new year they are increasing it to maybe 30/40. The new weapons will be those level. Ascending gear was only 365 because level 20 max attack is 365. Level 21 and plus will be higher than 365, even white/green gear will be higher than 365 guaranteed.
-
So why can we ascend anything if it is a new year?
-
Sorry, I meant use it. Obviously it can be used in crucible, but it can't be used elsewhere since it can't ascend. I can't use it past the first few days or weeks of TTK. I am probably just going to do a complete reset. At this point, I don't care and I really hope that ascension is disabled after TTK
-
But it can be used. It just wont be the best option, just like how rare and green guns aren't the best option. Ascending should've never been implemented in the first place. All level 20 gear should've started at 365 to begin with.
-
Thus making it obsolete and impacting my ability to choose. I can't even consider using it in endgame, I don't even have a 365 legendary.
-
Destiny is not the typical game that you just buy an play. It's a game that evolves as time goes, the guns that are in game right now is just for the content that we have for the game now. You can't expect to start a new year with the guns you have and already be able to complete the "endgame" when the new year just started. Thats like saying i expect to beat the VoG on Day1 when destiny first came out. What the hell is the point of getting new guns in the first place if i already have a loadout for the endgame content. Fuxk it, just give me every single boss in the game that destiny came up with that they didn't release yet. I have a fatebringer, black hammer, and gjallarhorn i should be able to beat them all because i should have the option to choose so. I want to beat year 10's boss with this loadout, i don't care about any other loadout, this is the supreme loadout if all guns will be equal no matter what. *being sarcastic near the end if you didn't know.*
-
Yes, and again I ask, do you not experiment at all? I never keep the same loadout. I'm always testing, tweaking, and trying to improve. I change it up to avoid the boredom. And, in all honesty, if they can't create new weapons to compete with existing legendaries, then something is really wrong. I would like the ability to choose for myself if this weapon works or the new does a better job.
-
But i already got the best loadout for every situation? You ask do i experiment, how do you think i came out with the best loadout for every situation? If all weapons are going to stay the same, then i don't need any new weapons. New gears should always be stronger, it gives you a reason to play. I'm not going to play if the gun that i currently have is already the best.
