What is your darkest fear?
This is a take off my other post talking about what people care about the most. Please remember to be specific. At the moment, mine is searching for something long lost, but not finding it.

Honestly, getting killed by a sniper. I don't know why, but I always check the hills.

Losing my friends and family by not being good enough for them.

Anything happening to my wife and/or kids. You read about kids being taken and wives being assaulted and it terrifies me that something might happen and I won't be there to protect them. I can't follow them around all their lives so I just sit here and worry. That and being attacked by thousands of spiders. I had a nightmare about that once. I was sat in the bath in the wall surrounding it was covered in spiders. After a few minutes they started jumping at me. It's one of the only dreams I remember vividly. Only lasted a short while but it's stayed with me for 19 years now, I was 16 at the time.

5 RisposteI have two which are equally as terrifying: My daughter dying because of me. I refuse to stand near ledges even on the 2nd floor of a building when I'm holding my kid. Bridges over large bodies of water. Yep. I'm scared of the bridge collapsing and I'm in my car, the car gets submerged in the water and I can't get out and I drown.

I don't have true fears about stuff like heights or spiders, though those things make me uncomfortable.
