The most BS thing anyone has ever told you on Destiny?
Played with this kid yesterday who said he went flawless when I asked him. He said he tried to get the flawless emblem but rng didn't bless him with it. He said he got a bunch of weapons that he just didn't like. I then asked him if he got the Fate of All Fools bounty and he said "yeah but I didn't really want it."
My friend invited me to another game today to do the nightfall and that same guy was there. I said "damn I'm happy I have 7 Gjallahorns" and he said "Gjallahorn? I had four but I dismantled them all because I needed exotic shards" I couldn't believe the amount of BS.
So what are some of the things people BSed you about?
Edit 1: (over 100 posts, sweet!) I played with the same kid today, we did the nightfall. He pretty much forgot everything that happened. He was like "AHHH where did Taniks go!" Pretty rough

My friend telling me Wolfpack rounds are arc. He changed he's textures ingame (he says ice breaker has the lightning of thunderlord) And he also says he's audio bugs out on shores of time.

Ran VoG today and someone said he wasn't going to touch the first chest because it would give him an exotic in the Gorgon CP chest. Luckily, he got the Plan C but it's been nearly a calendar year since VoG was released and people still believe that stuff? It's actually comical lol and he was stoked to get it so I guess that's all that matters

1 RispondiUr TOOOO drunk to play right now...as if ,I was just really high. And I played just fine kicked the sht out of crota...it was only later I was told that I died within sec of cp but they could still hear he using my control and I'd randomly say I killed something.

The most bs thing people keep telling me about destiny? That they know something about the game that others don't, was never stated by bungie anywhere, and they don't have a single piece of evidence to support their ridiculous claims, besides maybe some random dataminer that told them what he thinks even though he himself also does not have any evidence. What the hell... In a basic paper that would require the scientific method you would all fail horribly!!

1 RispondiA friend irl told me that the lightswitch modifier also increases the amount of arc damage u output, bc the lightswitch modifier is always on against arc enemies. Also he thinks that increase your int/disc/str correlates to the damage output of those Stats. He is my BFF irl but he is just wrong and u couldn't tell him otherwise.

My little cousin said he got a 4 colored engram and when he picked it up he got 1000 damage Vex Mythohorn that was 1,000,000 damage Fully automatic Gjallarhorn. And that it dropped in a Crucible game.

My friend replied saying tomorrow (which would be Tuesday) because he'll get an exotic from nightfall. The noob said why not today but we told him the same thing. The next day, the noob asked where was the exotic. My friend said that someone else must've taken it already. We never heard from that guy again.
