The one about Gjallarhorn nerfs...

People approach me every single day in the streets and ask, "Hey fella, why's the Gjallarhorn getting nerfed? It makes me not wanna play Destiny anymore." I reply, "Well, grandpa, it's like this... Since so many n00bs made having a Gjallarhorn a requirement to join Clans, Bungie became vindictive towards those few toddlers and made Gjallarhorn cut off its' own manhood. But Bungie, having very little foresight on the impact of the whole situation as always, forgot that there are so many hardworking folks like you and me that have invested their time in trying to acquire the mighty Gjallarhorn." The old man looked me in disgust before breaking down in tears, and soiling his diapers. Point of the story? Get Revenge against any of these pre-pubescent n00bs by reporting their ID and Clan if they make Gjallarhorn a requirement, so we can remove them from the community. Get your Relic, it's time to Cleanse. Gjallarhorn must be avenged!

  • Let's be honest, bungie provides no matchmaking for raids in the first place. I have to make my own team to do raids. Should I also not be allowed to state some requirements? Level 34 for skolas? Atleast 30 for atheon? Get over it people want to finish raids efficiently.

  • How about this....the devs get off there collaborative buts and actually test fire the weapon systems they attempt to replicate!?!?! Never going to happen. Programmers never leave the computer simulated world to discover what weapon systems require a what and the physical presence that they require. Programmers have no experience of combat. I challenge any of you to use your pistol or "hand canon" against my M-4 any damned day of the week!!!!!!! Get yourself a sniper rifle and move around to see if you can acquire any moving target!!!!!! How about this....join the Army or Marines and go to combat to see what you need as a soldier to fight and THEN create your combat around that. Otherwise have an entire cup of "STFU"!!!!! A pistol that can range across a map!?!?!?!?!

    • This isn't new, in the past Bungie has made other unpopular and poorly thought out NERFs and taken a lot of flack for it. What is far more likely is that Bungie was going to NERF it anyway and was just looking to scapegoat someone to take the heat off of them. They are fixated on unpopular NERFING while other long standing issues go unaddressed. Not only was this weeks NF the same one as 3 weeks ago, they also cut elemental sniper damage to Taniks by 50%. They just can't seem to stop themselves from screwing around with things their customers don't want them to mess with. It is a classic example of bad business decision making and is also baffling. Competitors will no doubt notice the vulnerability (self inflicted) and roll out a similar game minus the highly irritating decisions. Think about it, what sort of company scapegoats it's own customers?

      • The worst part about all of this (GHorn nerf) is that it honestly doesn't solve the issue. The people who partake in that sort of behavior will just find something else as a substitute, look at ToO forums as an example (must have flawless emblem to play). Another example was when Crota hard mode first released, must have Glowhoo to play. An emblem or shader isn't going to help you play any better but its used as a requirement. I don't think removing these people is going to be as easy as reporting them, as technically they aren't breaking any rules by not allowing you to play with them. The solution is IMO to just move on to the next group or better yet start a group/ clan and don't be like the individuals who partake in this nonsense.
