I'm rewriting this post because things got lost in translation. I'm on my phone with auto correct so expect bad grammar and misspelling. Just read what I have to say about stats and other things people bring up. I'm going to use halo as a reference alot in this post because most will agree it's one of the best shooters and most skill oriented games out their. Ok to understand what I'm talking about I have to explain some things... This is not bragging... This is not made up bs. I'm going to try explaining why stats don't matter the way you think they do in an intelligent way. But you have to understand the background and outlook on gaming FPS I have. First. PC kids this isn't for you. I know about counter strike blah blah. I've played it. I still think halo takes more skill. Just the way it is... Sorry. ;) Secondly. I'm an old Halo 2 competitive player who played in many tournaments in both halo and almost every call of duty since cod 4 what this means is I've played for money yes I've won a few online tournaments from Gamebattles and UMG I've been to many Lans as well. Ive paid rent with my winnings living paycheck to paycheck on my own at 17 gaming money helped out. It wasn't as great as you might think. It was hard and it sucked alot of the time. If I didn't win my $9 an hour job couldn't handle all the bills alone so some didn't get paid. I'm doing very well now but that was like 5 years ago. I was close to pro but school work and everything took up alot of my life so I couldn't in those days. That's what it means to play competitively in a game or games. To play at the highest level for money to earn more then an achievement. Playing like that changed my outlook on most shooters. I'm one of the ones that doesn't care about stats achievements trophy's on PS4 ex... I look at games like destiny as nothing more then fun, but Catch me on halo or in a scrim lobby or tournament on ether Halo or Call of duty. I play to win serious all the time. Games like destiny theres No private lobby and unbalanced gameplay make for an impossible experience for real competition. I can see how stats matter to the average player now here's where I need to explain things.... The average player thinks good stats mean good player. For other average play to have fun players yes. That's the case most of the time. Public players see tons of kills and lots of shooting others and a public game win as their way of proving to them and friends yes we're the best! We won. But if you see a pro Halo player like Pistola or SnipeDown they might win in a public lobby they might not. More often then not you'll see them messing around just trying to have fun playing weird or whatever. It's because they don't take pub Lobby's seriously, there's no money on the line or trophy's to be had. So why would real competition oriented players care? They don't. Most competitive games for console are on Xbox. It's not a better system... Idc about specs I have both they look the same on my monitor. Point is. Most of the good players want to be were the pros are. Like when Call Of Duty competitive goes to PS4 alot of semi pro players and others will fallow the pros because they want to play at that level. How do you get to that level? You play with the best. As of now. The best Call of duty MLG pros are on Xbox. That's where the competition is so it makes sence the better skilled players will be there.. Now here's the post statement. I've been told over and over I'm bad this my stats this my KD sucks blah blah. Idc what you think about me on a game like destiny or public Lobby's it means nothing repeat nothing to me. I could have a negative KD and still hit 20 30 kills a game playing seriously. Which I don't do because again. This game has no competitive aspect. So to tell me which you no I don't care anyway, or ANYONE ELSE that they are bad because of KD without at least seeing them play, Is unfair to that person. You don't know why that guy or girl went negative they could've been using no land beyond for the first time or 360 no scoping the whole time or going for nothing but a hard bounty. Point is pub players that's you if you've never competed you're a pub player. If you only care about stats and you don't compete then you're what's known among real comp players as a pub star. Someone who is only good at public matches. I do not care about said matches. My stats are bad but get on a game like halo or something for money and I will wreck you. I promise that... So don't throw you're YouTube jkhovey in my face or lumy any of them cuz even hovey himself who I actually think is pretty good for the record not the best... Good.... said it himself competitive players play at the highest level. Public players do not. Until you compete for real you are not among the best just because you have alot of kills or high 4.0 KD. BTW this goes for Xbox players too... But I had the title because most of the PS4 streamers are the ones people bring up the most.... Point is stop downing others over stats...
