Anyone think the Dreadnought...
Sounds pretty -blam!-ing awesome? Patrol events within an enclosed space sounds really interesting. Puzzles. Strikes. New bosses. I was doubtful at first about it but it looks promising.
Edit for clarification regarding the geniuses that say "all patrols are an enclosed space derp derp"
A public event within a room or hallway or any similarly small, walled area will be an interesting dynamic. Derp on though little buddies.

Wait until you've seen it all in a few days then you have to repeat raid and patrols on it for months. It will feel like a giant floating poe.

1 RispondiI really want the taken king to be good. I really really do. Destiny needs more story, more cutscenes, more action, more to do, more better rewards, and better/larger/scenic environments. I feel like if TTK doesn't live up to the hype I don't know what will happen. If TTK doesn't take my time away, the new Need for Speed game will.

Yeah, I think it sounds awesome. I also thought vanilla destiny sounded awesome. And TDB, and HoW. But they weren't. They were mediocre or bad, all 3 of them. So my expectations are low.

4 RisposteYes, it does sound awesome. So did their claims prior to release of the original game, TDB and HoW, none of which lived up to the hype. This time I'm going to wait and see how their promises translate into reality. Frankly, I'm just expecting more disappointment.

3 RisposteDon't get sucked in by the hype train. We all hope that the TTK will be good. Given the past two mediocre offerings many have adopted a wait and see attitude prior to preordering. Bungie isn't naive. They know that TTK needs to impress. Question is will it? I hope so but I'm staying on the fence until some more information is provided. Ie number of new strikes, number of new patrol missions, new bounties, etc. I just read the weekly update and have watched the trailer. It looks great but it's supposed to look great. Doesn't mean it's any good though. Time will tell.

4 RisposteI've been playing since beta. I love the mechanics of the game. If it's one thing that bungie knows how to do its marketing. All these trailers look amazing however look at their track record (tdb and how). The thought of throwing a flaming hammer has me so excited for the expansion. I won't give them a pre order until more info is given due to their current track record. Those last "expansions" being very lack luster I won't give in to the hype. I want to know how many strikes, how many missions, any new game mechanics. The trust in the name bungie has been tarnished. Like many others I have high hopes for this game and wish it to be better in terms of content. Now's the time to prove it to us.
