Rumble Check M8
-
6 RisposteHitler had a great K/D, he was a bit of a camper though.
-
You can tell people that you are MLG
-
As his girlfriend says size doesn't matter
-
K/D does not matter for what? Because you could argue that in trials you want at least a 1 K/D. Why? Well because if it is below a one that means you are making your team fight way more 2 V 3 battles and well their KD better be decent because they are going to have to at least kill 1.5 people before they go down. So yea KD does matter
-
Kills give you points. Points help you win. Getting killed gives your enemy points. Points help them win. Therefor, if you get kills more often then you die, you are more likely to win. So the ratio of kills/deaths does indeed matter.
-
With the amount of lag in pvp... How can anyone's kd be accurate?
-
26 RisposteLet's play rumble for a bit right now? I see one of your only rebuttals is that "I'm playing for fun", as if that makes a difference. I can show you first hand what k/d shows about a player, why mine is so high, and why yours is so low. This way, once I absolutely smash you into a billion pieces for my first game of the day, you will never forget that one time you were an idiot on the forums, and you can't use "I wasn't trying" as an excuse :).
-
1 RispondiThere's too many variables with K/D ratios, they're too much of a broad generalisation of someone's time in Crucible, obviously we can't expect more detailed breakdowns because it's not really important. There's nothing to say how well people do with a full fire-team or how they do solo, or how they play against other good teams, whether they stay in losing games with useless teams or when they're lagging too much for shots to register, whether they always use the best load out or whether they mess with useless guns for fun, there's just too many variables. And this doesn't cover 'stat padders' either who happily get 6 kills in an entire game of control as long as they only die once. I know some players with K/D ratios that are fairly average, but they as a player are absolutely amazing.
-
You're right it doesn't matter at all. Sometimes I go super negative on purpose because that's the only way to get rewarded when playing crucible because the top list players at the end of the game get nothing most of the time
-
3 RisposteHere we have a casual on his natural habitat... Do not feed the animals please.
-
3 RisposteSo hows my kd? Lol
-
lol peep mine.. Hunter Control Titan everything
-
Says the one with the negative kd
-
You've been given a lot of good reasons and replied with BM.... I can detect the sodium on you... go play cod or something
-
If you want to win, then it does as every death you have gives the other team points. Its good to get a good kd but a good kd because of less deaths is better than high deaths. If you don't care about wining then its not important.
-
1 RispondiNo, it doesn't. It's about enjoying yourself.
-
The top 10 destiny players all have kd's over 4. Just sayin...
-
3 RisposteSays the guy with the 0.9 XD
-
6 RisposteLow medal score and no lighthouse grimore score card? Seen enough evidence here.
-
Seems like bait.... In a game where points are given out per kill. Having more kills than deaths helps your team. Having more deaths than kills helps the enemy team.
-
If the enemy team has a 2 k/d collectively then your team has a .5kd collectively. It's all math. Higher k/d mostly correlates to player skill but not all the time.
-
-
If you are looking for a team in a competitive gametype where winning matters like trials then kd is everything it shows that your teammate will be getting kills and not dying more then they are killing it shows that be me if they use op weapons they are good with them. It reflects how good or bad a person is in a gametype where kills and deaths are the only factor in deciding a victor like trials and clash even control to a point
-
1 RispondiBecause team Deathmatch scoring calculated by your teams points is your kills, and the other teams points is your deaths. So if your kd sucks, your dragging down your team. Also if your kd sucks you probably shouldn't be saying how it doesn't matter
-
We're playing a first person shooter here. MOBA's are games where you can get away with being the best support in the world and be the most productive member of your team. But if you're playing Halo, Destiny, Battlefield, whatever, whether it's CTF, Crazy King, One bomb, or TDM, slaying power is really, really important.
