It actually does make sense. I would bet the vast majority of times these "lag" switchers are just just experiencing regular lag. Putting up a persons name and claiming they are lag switchers is like throwing someone in jail without a trial. Report them to stop the public linchings. That is the only non-medival thing to do.

Well fair enough but you don't lag like that 16 plus games in a row like that. Then people of the same clan doing the same thing. I understand what you are saying, but if you were the jury how would you find them?

That's just it. I'm not the jury and neither are you. I don't play ToO much as I just get destroyed so it isn't any fun. I do play IB a lot as that is a blast. I see people lagging all over the place, sometimes. Not all the time. Is it lag switching? I have no idea, how could you know? I think if Bungie has some way of monitoring the frequency in which they "lag" maybe that would work? I have a hard time understanding how lagging intentionally would even benefit a team. Too old I guess. I remember seeing a video where the entire team, which was accused of lag switching, just stood on their flag and never moved until the end. That one seemed intentional. They did get banned, so It is clear Bungie does investigate these things. Is that not enough, knowing they do ban people? I really doubt this lag switching is anywhere near as rampant as people make it out to be. It seems to me just an excuse for a loss sometimes.
