I admit, I didn't fully read your post. But assuming your reply to my comment is a summarization of your post...I still can't say I entirely agree. While I'm somewhat okay with exotics out-damaging legendaries, it should only be a slight increase. Even if I were to fully agree with you, I would still think Ghorn needed a nerf. Each rocket did far too much damage. Entire teams of them trivialized literally every PvE encounter. In fact, the only reason stuff couldn't be consistently completed in mere seconds is because not everyone has Gjallahorn. But everyone has at least one exotic. So if every exotic had the damage boost above its base weapon type that Gjallahorn did...well, it would be chaos. Destiny's PvE would be a complete joke. And seeing as how it's PvP is already a shitshow...I feel safe in saying Destiny would be dead in months. Of course, you could have addressed all of that in your post. There was no TLDR so I wouldnt know.
