You're NOT a raid vet if you die during the Confluxes in VoG
For those claiming to be raid vets, if you die during the Confluxes, you are not a vet. YOURE A BASIC SCRUB!! Your fireteam leader should boot you immediately.
How can you die on this part these days? Everyone should be lvl 34 with 365 weapons. The right side can be soloed and there isn't anything new that you haven't seen. So there should be no reason to die unless you can handle several enemies shooting at you at once which also means you must have a horrible PvP KD. Don't mention the fanatics because you can seem them from a mile away and they don't teleport.
Confluxes are the hardest part of both raids so I believe this is a good setting stone to see if someone is a true raid vet or not. Running a raid 100 times doesn't make you a true raid vet. If you die all the time
Commence the Butt Hurt people.

Long edit 2: I'm glad to see most agree with me about staying alive during the Confluxes. It's not that difficult at all. Some are really upset over this topic and take it soo seriously which I don't really understand unless you don't meet the standards of being a Vet and wish you did. I have run the VoG numerous times and I know what I am talking about. Go ahead and attack me all you want. My feelings aren't hurt. For those who mute me, I'm deeply devastated. I don't need to hear about you muting me after taking a cheap shot. I feel like those who mute also have some sort of issues in real life where they run away from their problems or can't hold an argument. It's the Internet, get over yourself.
Edit 3: weapon and armor damage makes a difference in the VoG. It's not capped at 30. Stop saying its capped and armor and weapon damage doesn't matter/change. You are 100% wrong. Try it out for yourself. Clearly this shows you are no where near being a raid vet.

Glad I'm a raid vet xD I would have twice as much raids done as I do, but I had a couple month pause of not playing the game.

Confluxes are fine, right up to the point the game decides we've had it easy and spawns 12 hobgoblins on 1 side. Then your just -blam!-ed

You're a scrub if you can't 2 man confluxes on hard tbh.

Confluxes aren't even the hard part... Camp spawn points for ai with precision height never changing, then pull out a sniper to kill goblins every once in a while I've solo'd the left side multiple times on hard, learn the pace and timing of enemy spawns and its a beeeze afterwards. The right side is the easiest so no reason to even bring it up The templar is harder than the confluxes

2 RisposteYou can die at confluxes, even in lv 34 with VOG weapon at 365. You're in the middle with a teammate. He left you alone because 2noob/guardian down, you got defend the middle and the right alone and you die at the end. Simply.

2 RisposteSince you are throwing the term around so casually: Scrub if still doing raids. They were obsolete months ago after hitting 32. "Vets" have no need for the weapons, exotic or legendary. "Vets" also had both complete sets of armor.

12 RisposteThe fact that you think being over Lvl 30 with higher than 300+ weapons shows how much of a scrub you are. If you are higher level your damage scales down, meaning you do the same damage as a Lvl 30 as a Lvl 34 fighting Lvl 30 enemies

I think it gets worse the closer it is to reset. Had two days off right before reset. Worst. Raids. Experienced. Eeeevvvveeeerrrr. Couldn't keep half the team alive in confluxes. Sniping oracles went so bad, the game mercifully kicked me to orbit. I didn't join back. Oh, one of my friends needs help with Atheon? Looks like we only have 4 people, but accept this challenge. Out of the forty or so tries, only once did I cause a wipe, maybe twice. Thank god a fifth person finally came, I was running out of patience. Not once did anyone say they were newish to this, they just kept jumping on the fail train with their 34-33 level armor. It was just sad. I pity those fools.

Who. Cares. Its a game child. Not the military. Being a "vet" doesnt mean dick. If thats something you pride yourself on then its time to rethink your life.
