For those claiming to be raid vets, if you die during the Confluxes, you are not a vet. YOURE A BASIC SCRUB!! Your fireteam leader should boot you immediately.
How can you die on this part these days? Everyone should be lvl 34 with 365 weapons. The right side can be soloed and there isn't anything new that you haven't seen. So there should be no reason to die unless you can handle several enemies shooting at you at once which also means you must have a horrible PvP KD. Don't mention the fanatics because you can seem them from a mile away and they don't teleport.
Confluxes are the hardest part of both raids so I believe this is a good setting stone to see if someone is a true raid vet or not. Running a raid 100 times doesn't make you a true raid vet. If you die all the time
Commence the Butt Hurt people.
Edit: so salty.
Long edit 2: I'm glad to see most agree with me about staying alive during the Confluxes. It's not that difficult at all. Some are really upset over this topic and take it soo seriously which I don't really understand unless you don't meet the standards of being a Vet and wish you did. I have run the VoG numerous times and I know what I am talking about. Go ahead and attack me all you want. My feelings aren't hurt. For those who mute me, I'm deeply devastated. I don't need to hear about you muting me after taking a cheap shot. I feel like those who mute also have some sort of issues in real life where they run away from their problems or can't hold an argument. It's the Internet, get over yourself.
Edit 3: weapon and armor damage makes a difference in the VoG. It's not capped at 30. Stop saying its capped and armor and weapon damage doesn't matter/change. You are 100% wrong. Try it out for yourself. Clearly this shows you are no where near being a raid vet.

2 manned the final wave of confluences with me (self Res) and him (self res)

2 RisposteOP has experience being a raid. Used to having 6 people inside him exploring mysterious caverns.

105 completions...

5 RisposteThis post is too negative. Let's change the subject. What's your favorite color? Mine is green

3 RisposteNope you are wrong. You're a raid vet if you actually know how to get through the gorgons. I'm constantly surprised how few people know how to do it. I even have my own route for getting through it.
-
Don't know about everyone else but in my experience with other raid groups Oracle's have proven more difficult, so in a way I agree, people (if they've done it enough times and know what's happening in vog) shouldn't really die that often during the confluxes, but I still think Oracle's are a little more annoying

People like you are cancer.

Modificato da KannibalKlown: 8/5/2015 6:03:56 PMThere is vet and there is master Not every military vet is a certified navy seal or a standin for Rambo. A gaming vet just knows what to do and, more importantly, what not to do. A gaming master can do stuff solo and/or not die

1 Rispondi
Your fireteam leader should boot you immediately.
What if its him that always dies?

Modificato da Mister Nice Guy: 8/5/2015 5:50:08 PMWait, so... Guy joins 3 weeks ago, completes VOG's Conflux section without dying. This guy == vet??? Guy runs vanilla VoG, gets into the "forever 29" RNG phase, keeps playing the game with every DLC, joins a team and happens to die at the Conflux. This guy == not vet??? I don't get the logic...
So there should be no reason to die unless you can handle several enemies shooting at you at once which also means you must have a horrible PvP KD. Don't mention the fanatics because you can seem them from a mile away and they don't teleport.
What?

Modificato da Animal Mother: 8/5/2015 5:48:28 PMSeriously, who gives a fat -blam!- about what some other person does on a video game. Let me direct you to my thread, it's called "You're a scrub in life if you have enough time to care what other people do while playing video games". But, I guess the bright side is whoever you play with can count on you to solo the right side confluxes, and of course you'll never die because you're not a scrub. Lol

Someone in our friend group was dying when there was only one conflux
-
Modificato da Mr Ilax: 8/5/2015 5:38:09 PMFirst off, being over level 30 or using weapons over 300 don't change anything. They are capped out on damage/reduction there. Edit: For Vault of Glass Hard Mode Second, people seem to be confusing raid "Vet" with raid "Master" A vet can get through the raids reliably and quickly. A matter can solo a bunch of the stuff. I know sweaty try hards want to make themselves feel better, but it isn't much of a stretch as less than 1 in 4 players have completed a hard mode raid. The important skills to be a raid vet are raid skills. Shooting enemies and not dying really isn't a raid skill, it's an all around skill that most people should have.

2 RisposteDude I just bought a bigger truck for the salt on this forum...I need to go back to the dealership now

1 RispondiI only usually end up dying on this part after the team I get LFGd with all dies......or sometimes they just wipe and don't even attempt to do it normally. I just go with the flow when that occurs. I do always try to run the relic on Templar.....otherwise who knows how long it can take.....

15 RisposteModificato da JHarv: 7/26/2015 12:41:39 AMMy criteria for raid vet status: Can solo a gatekeeper portal Picks up the Atheon relic, cleanses team, drops relic to shoot oracles, picks up, continues. Does the relic on templar, can block ports and (if team is good) can down him with no ports. Can solo Crotas End Can definitely solo lamps and bridge on Crotas End hard, can at least solo a side of deathsinger, run the sword on Crota In general, doesn't need to mic up or communicate with anyone, just knows what to do and when to do it. If you have the awareness to realize people die, things get screwed up without having to be asked to cover, and instead just know what you need to cover, you are definitely a raid vet. Oh and let's say Skolas is easy for you too, but PoE in general is a joke.
-
Meh I'm usually last alive unless I'm with a self rez warlock and for.obvious reasons they seem to live longer. As for crotas end... Didn't do it a whole lot mostly lfgd for crota cp... So no I'm not a raid vet... But I can still at least teach the new up and comers the basics. That's all the I care for... Who gives a -blam!- about if you soooo good. Its game. Not real life.
-
2 RisposteModificato da RamsNation01: 8/5/2015 5:15:53 PMbetter judgment of a raid vet is if you can run both relics, confluxes is nothing special lol
-
1 Rispondi34 is no better than 30.
-
2 RisposteI've died once cause I nova bombed myself (scrub moment right there)
-
2 RisposteI only die when we wipe because the 4 kids we invited WON'T EVER LISTEN
-
its easy if you play defensive but some people die at the first cunflux and thats -blam!-ed up shit
