They earned so much through the taxation of marijuana that they planned to give it back to the people in "larger than normal tax refunds". But the people said they would prefer it go to the schools.
How about that...marijuana is terrible, and ruining a lot of lives over there :(

4 RisposteGovernment: We wanna give you money back. People: nahhh man... we need to like... learn what the sun does when it goes behind the clouds. G: ................We're going to put it into schools so you can learn that. P: I bet it takes it's dick out behind the clouds...

I think that if it's regulated, in a way similar to alcohol, then it could be okay. But I've heard of studies that say it increases memory problems frequent smokers. granted, it's not as bad as alcohol's effect on frequent drinkers, but the problem's still there.

Legalize it. Hard stuff like Cocaine and Heroin, absolutely not, but marijuana? Why the hell not? Tax the shit out of it. If anything, Colorado has just gone and shown a fantastic test result for why states should be doing this. They keep it clean and legal, control most of it, and get a great source of income.

2 RisposteThe one time my state is mentioned in a post it is about weed. Sweet state to be in. Woo

12 RisposteI've never done it nor will i, but I believe in the legalization of hemp would definitely take America out of its debt.

Ok. As someone who has long been anti-pot I give credit to this.
-
I have nothing against it. Except the smell. I hate the smell.
-
6 RisposteAs a Coloradan, marijuana legalization is great both for the economy and for reducing criminal control over it. Plus, I made a fun game where I count all of the pot-shops whenever I go downtown. My high-score is 26.

Bungie might nerf it because "that's not the way they intended us playing"

20 RisposteMarihuana is not much worse than alcohol...

Schools do not need anymore tax dollars. They are already inefficient and the curriculum is being dictated by people who have no idea about how to teach relying more on test scores than actually teaching the kids the material in the tests. However legalization of weed is a good thing for the people who opt to not smoke it and it hurts criminal organizations. And if we are completely honest weed isn't exactly the hardest thing to obtain.

Propaganda: It's bullshit and it's bad for you.
10/10 propaganda worse than marijuanas.
2 RisposteMeanwhile in the UK our government is taking from healthcare and schools and putting it in their pockets and weaponry... Never thought Texas would seem better than the UK

Not to mention all the money this has taken away from crime and black markets. Everyone will realise legalising marijuana to be the obvious choice soon.
-
11 RisposteModificato da Vicex: 7/23/2015 3:11:22 PMThat's not accurate... Black market sales are a huge problem which are putting "legitimate" businesses in difficult times. But. Hey, what would I expect from some kid who still thinks marijuana has no detrimental effects?
