WHAT?? Remove Blink from the GAME??? Another nerf
So amidst all the weapon chaos... I stumbled across something I haven't seen anyone talking about on the forums. And if it has been discussed or pointed out already... sorry.
This quote right here, by Senior Design Lead Sage Merrill (found in the latest Bungie update)

When I read this... that REALLY, I MEAN... REALLY solidified the end of this game for me. The last patch notes did it... but this just puts the final nail on the coffin.
What this shows me... is Bungie can't leave their hands off this game... and the things that make it fun and different. They cater to the WHINERS WAYYYYYY too much. I'm sorry, but this quote proves they will continue to destroy this game piece by piece until all the little kids are happy. Who knows, maybe this is the market they want to cater to. it's a mistake. EVERY game that ever caters to children (after being released for mature players) ends up dying.
And before you say git gud scrub: I have a titan and 2 hunter classes. and am mostly a golden gun user... I do like blink when I use it yes... but my complaint has NOTHING to do with taking away a perk I use to help me win.
EDIT: Anyone who is saying "he doesn't want to remove blink"... You are missing the point. The fact that it's coming across his desk means IT"S A POSSIBILITY. And then combine that with the fact they are still going to nerf it in some way... and they just can't stop F'ing with this game in areas that don't need messing with. And guess what?? if he can't find a way to nerf it... he may not want to remove it... but he may just have to.

Titans can catapult away from blink shotgun if they see it coming.

7 RisposteBlink's fine, it gives you a chance to get I Can See You medals in crucible when you shotgun them. However, why not make blink have a sound that's clearly identifiable so you maybe have time to either crouch, jump or fire blindly in panic.

As someone who uses blink quite extensively I can say that it is pretty op. It closes the distance between yourself and your target way too easily and makes a much easier escape than a normal jump. Also, vs a blink shotgun'er your only option is to blink towards them or hope you can shoot them down before they get too close and Titans can only perform one of these options. Also, before you tell me just slide...it doesn't work lol the start up takes too long and before you know it he's right in your face and you're sliding right into their path.

I would hate to see Blink go, and I actually hate it myself. I just can't get the hang of it, and people who do honestly had difficulty using it the first time. People who've mastered it are still alien to me, and I'm not sure why most use it anyway. It negates invisibility, makes you a highly detectable target, and makes you unable to fire for a short time. Perhaps they could simply increase the time it takes to recharge Blink, or the time it takes to ready your weapon afterwards, or maybe both. That'd work to shut down the whiners and make it a little more balanced.

Where does it say "I am currently removing the blink jump ability from Destiny in the taken king patch, sorry for any inconvenience" he said "back to the drawing board" which could indicate anything, from nerfing the jump to increasing some of its base timing so it takes longer to charge the jump. Why jump to pointless conclusions and just fûcking wait till the patch comes.

I personally will miss the old blink but I do know it's over powered and needs to changed.

1 RispondiIT'S not a possibility, JUST because SOME people suggest IT. people HAVE suggested auto RIFLES with wolfPACK rounds as A perk but that's NOT happening EITHER. they only want TO nerf it because of the BLINK-shotgun meta, which coincidentally might BE FIXED AFTER the 2.0 update nerf on shotguns. P.S; How did I do with my random capitalization of words?
