If Bungie did Destiny with Microsoft would it be better?
People say Microsoft kept Bungie in line...

Ok. Microsoft would probably throw in a few exclusives at the Xbox like Bungie did at Sony but c'mon. Microsoft owns one of the highest selling game on the PS4 : Minecraft! So it would turn the tables on the exclusive weapons but Microsoft would let PS4 players enjoy the game!

DLC prices would be better and I think content wouldn't be cut up as much. Also I feel like under Microsoft bungie would have more employees pushing out content since 131 studios or w/e there called would help out with Destiny after the launch of halo or same time.

3 RisposteDo you really think Sony or Microsoft influence anything to do with design decisions in destiny? It's Activision who call the shots and set the prices. Activision pay bungie to make the game, they decide what gets released and what gets cut. Activision who decided to offset the risk they took giving a new franchise a 10 year contract by selling subsets of content to Sony. It's Activision circumnavigating both Microsoft and Sony 's policy of not having additional subscription costs for games on their consol that means the game charges so much for dlc. This post should be asking would destiny be better of bungie studios was financed by Microsoft or Activision, Sony don't even come into the equation unless you some sad fan boy who cares about consol superiority

New engine, new publisher, 4 consoles to build for... they had an uphill challenge to begin with. I'm not a fan of how they've allocated resources, but I think a lot of lessons will be learned and the pool of consoles will be down to only 2 when Destiny 2 comes around. Basically, this is a massive beta and we're paying super premium price to pay for it.

You can't tell. I feel that the story would have been a lot better because the writer would not have quit. Bungie also would have needed to parter with Activision so much and dlc structure would have better. As I am writing this I change my answer to yes, it would be better
