I just came from the recruitment forums & I'm seeing even more people than usual requiring a max ghorn to do poe 35 or poe 34 etc...I guess the wolfpack nerf isnt going to work like Bungie though it would.
Also, keep in mind Im fully aware that the patch isnt live until Sept, but there are a lot of people in recruitment that think otherwise. Its kinda sad actually...

Messed up priorities man. Screw over fellow players, especially newer ones that need help learning and doing the raids and shit like that just to spite Bungie, who will do absolutely nothing. Can you imagine how ridiculous they would look if they went back on the Gally nerf? It would castrate them for the entire community and give everyone an even bigger sense of entitlement. At this point that would do more damage than what they've already done. All you're showing is that yeah people are really pieces of shit just like they thought they were. It's a pointless protest and the only person it hurts is us, the players.

All nerfs this round are meant to increase time to kill and time spent playing. Activision and bungie padding stats. Look at the Poe when it first came out with burns.... 45 seconds to kill the boss. Bungie was quick on that patch weren't they? Lol but they still haven't fixed their shit pvp servers.... I wonder why.

Bungie is nerfing the Gjallahorn in order to increase player participation and playing time... As time progresses and more people obtain the Ghorn, the drive to grind decreases and activities are less difficult. Challenge and scarcity creates the drive to play, and ultimately: $$$

2 RisposteSome people are pissed about the nerf that is to come and now demand Gally users instead of letting inviting non Gally owners. It's a twisted way of protesting.

1 RispondiThis whole nerf is aimed mainly at walking back the super powerful weapons of early destiny. The designers got into trouble when they realized all the best perks and most powerful weapons came when the game released. They couldn't make weapons more powerful than early exotics so, in order to get us to move on to new weapons, they needed to nerf all the old ones. In most games new content is harder and requires new more powerful weapons, even if the new perks are worse, to complete. Because of the way the leveling structure works in destiny we are not forced to move on. This the nerf to everything we currently use

12 RisposteI think it's ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS (and I highly support the idea even though I am done with raids and PoE for the foreseeable future) for people to vindictively require Gjallarhorn even MORE after the nerf announcement. Show Bungie that if they're going to be dicks we can be dicks too. If they want to ruin our gameplay because of whiners that are being excluded then we will give them the opposite outcome they are trying to force. Even LESS inclusion. Hahahahahahahahahahaha

7 Risposte... You're aware the nerf won't be applied until September, right?
-
1 RispondiDid this.
-
Bc they want it to last
-
My usual lfg is nothing but gali, gali, gali haha backfire already
-
4 RisposteUhhh ... The update isn't until Sept 15th ... Duh. Your welcome.
-
1 RispondiLol, Wolfpack rounds havent been nerfed at all, and wont be until September 15th. Also, why do they absolutely have to not use Gjallarhorn? Its not nerfed, so why cant they use it?
-
Patch hasn't hit, so...what do you expect?
-
they are going to abuse it till they lose it
-
You don't want to play with people who require gally, because that makes it apparent that they don't understand the mechanics of the fight. You're much better off playing with people who learn the mechanics enough to understand which loadout actually word the best.

2.0 isn't live for another 2 months.
-
2 RispostePeople will Def still require it, at least till the patch. Did u think they would change? Btw. Beat skolas with a first timer and he was using non maxed out guns and no gally. And I'm no pro. It can be done. But I understand people asking for it
-
1 RispondiGreat news! This gives Bungie another reason to have Xur sell it!
-
You thought that was gonna change stuff before the nerf? That's just stupid.

-
1 RispondiThe nerf hasn't been put in effect yet...

7 RisposteWell, I guess the nerf will need to be increased to the point where truth and dragons breath out performs it. Besides, what rule in destiny says gally NEEDS to be the strongest launcher
