Well said dude, you see im a thorn user too and lots of players like me have grinded for that weapon and spent hours and days doing it, now its all gone to waste because all the people who whine about the weapon and cry about it forced bungie into nerfing it thanks a lot you inconsiderate idiots all those hours grinding WASTED.

I'm not that great if a player but my only problem I have with the thorn is the one shot glitch. That's crap. People running around with the thorn one shooting you and you pump 4 rounds into them and only take their health half way down. I call bulls*#t

I think you should be able to use whatever weapon u want. If you wanna use that stupid auto rifle u get at the very beginning of the game u should be able to use it without putting yourself at a disadvantage. That's just my opinion tho

It was too OP and you can't not admit that, and with the nerf the weapon will still be pretty good. I mean seriously i beat that bounty in like 4 hours it's not hard

It's not the gun it's the player and that thorn isn't op .... Wow that's dumb . Everyone uses the thorn because it is Op same as last word . Tell me if they aren't Op then why does everyone use them ?

Oh and by the way guys Thorn isn't OP its the player the player knows how to fight and win thorn is JUST a exotic hand Cannon its not OP its the player that knows how to play the game and use the weapon my friend isnt good at the weapon and he doesnt win using it its the player

And auto rifles after the next patch are supposed to make a comeback from where they were. Not to their full former glory but it won't be as bad as before

How is a person suppose to be better if thorn 2 shots you plus balancing weapons is great now everyone has a fair chance to kill now your probably a really good player but that doesn't stop the fact that thorn and last word is op and so what if auto rifles aren't as good as they used to be that means if you then now and your really good with them then that makes you a really good player as well

I believe the uniqueness in exotics wasn't justified nor intended tol rely on their power. But the abilities and glammer they hold.. whether they buff or nerf any weapon, that shouldn't be an issue. You get exotics cause the perks can't be found anywhere else and look far different.. Nowhere in the game are you promised power with exotics...

Thorn is a meh weapon, the real power lies in NLB

So I actually grinded on the Thorn bounty lately. When I first got the bounty, I did the first few steps, then when I got to to the part where I had to actually be a good PvP participant, I thought "this will never happen". I completely discounted the bounty for months. What I finally realized is that every bounty picks a specific skill in the game and makes you focus on it until you are actually proficient in that particular skill. Yes it was hard, yes I cussed and wanted to give up. I had to hang back and play a way that didn't allow me to rush in and stomp. It didn't feel good that I couldn't look like a champion because I was shoulder charging or throwing huge void bombs, or blade dance. I had to use skill. I worked so fu%king hard to get proficient, and I was awarded for my dedication. I got this weapon last weekend... After months... I still get shot the f&ck up by some dude sliding at me with a shotty, or a d#ckhole camping with a sniper rifle on occasion, but you know what, that takes a weekend to learn. If that is your only technique, you will lose. It's all about learning the maps and being well rounded with your builds and weapon setup. I When I first came into crucible I hated it. Iron banner made me a man. You can't hide. You have to live up to your rank. Stop being a bunch of pussies and learn how to play the -blam!-ing game. STOP NERFING SHIT AND -blam!-ING UP THE BEAUTIFUL, DELICATE, AND ELEGANT ECOSYSTEM THAT YOU HAVE SPENT SO MUCH TIME AND EFFORT TO BUILD, BUNGIE!!!! LISTEN TO YOUR SERIOUS PLAYERS AND NOT YOUR LITTLE WHINER CASUALS.

I've beaten Thorn users with plenty of guns. Doesn't mean it shouldn't be nerfed.it makes good people bad.

Umm. They didn't balence them to oblivion. Just be a good enuff player to adapt to the new balances. And no I'm not calling you a bad player
