HCs, and Fusion Rifles RUINED! Welcome to the unskilled land of ARs where scrubs can hold down the trigger and win...
Bungie! I know the scrubs have money, but why ruin the fun because of their crying? Good business move, that's about it. Truth is, there are more scrubs than non-scrubs. A scrub is a guy who don't get no love from me, hanging out the passenger side of his best friends ride, trying to holla at me.
Tell me what the point of grinding for exotics and other coveted weapons are, if none of them are "special" anymore? Just because I can use a handcannon in PvP and OWN with it, doesn't mean other players can't do the same. You have basically leveled the playing fields for skilled players VS baddies.
Once again, Auto Rifles are going to be the "Best" weapons to use in PvP - How lame!
way to nerf thorn and the last word OUT OF EXISTENCE. they will be USELESS in PvP now. What about the players that love primary hand cannons?

My tits are totally calm, just a rant from someone who hates getting melted by 5 scrubs using ARs at the same time.
If you really believe that using ARs takes skill...... LOL you're one of the crybabies that got Thorn/TLW/HM nerfed because you can't use it.
Edit: Also, I would like to mention fusion rifle nerfs, completely unnecessary. Once again catering to the crybaby scrubs because they are constantly getting owned. Soon the game will be super lame because no weapons will reward a skilled hand..
I think one of the sniper scopes available in Destiny provides the best explanation to how it should be: "Rewards a skilled hand"
THAT statement right there, should be how all guns behave, but the scrubs cry and get things nerfed. Exactly the reason why they will never nerf snipers performance wise (besides BS last round....), because scrubs who can't use them, don't. AND, if you're getting owned by some BA sniper on the enemy team, nobody says "snipers are OP" because they take skill to be really good at.

2 RisposteSo I made a steak some weeks ago and seasoned it with an awesome array of spices. Not too much but enough for a nice little added kick. I went to a diner last night and they made my steak with no spices at all. It was bland and boring. Flavor exists for a reason. It makes so many things better when you season them. Beyond that, I love me some bacon. Throw bacon on almost anything and it's instantly better. I'm all about experiencing new flavors from around the world. So with so many flavors to choose from, why did you choose Salty?

Thorn will not be as used Hawkmoon really hasn't changed and last word will still be amazing if they rush you with a shot gun. Now if you really like hand cannons then you can agree that you can hit people from a considerable range, that would be perfectly ok if we didnt have scout rifles. Currently hand canons are a better scout rifle, with 2.0 weapon types will have a better identity and will further increase variety in pvp.

Sounds like a good thing when "specific groups" don't dominate simply because they have something others don't. Please remember you play with those still leveling up. If this were halo 5 you would not have a different weapon from everybody else. So it sounds like they are leveling the playing field in pvp.

7 RisposteI thought Thorn was a pretty fun and ettective weapon to use before I even unlocked the damage over time. The hand cannons are just fine. The bullshit part is the Ice Breaker, Black Hammer and fusion rifle nerfs. Two weapons that nobody had an issue with have been taken away. As well as an entire type of weapon that was already nerfed into obscurity. Fusion rifles used to be wicked fun to use.

Yeah because switching out thorn after you die to get the first shot final round was totally skilled and balanced Yeah because sniping with thorn and hitting two shots and running is totally skilled and balanced. 2 RisposteIf you think you win Gunfights by simply holding down your trigger, you may be suprised after the patch. On a real Gunfight you have to control the recoil steady to the head. Simply triggering down will not help you anything. Im glad to see AR's coming back. Because there will be more REAL Gunfights instead of 2 shot insta kills. Cant wait :)

But I believe that with this weapon "balancing"- what happened with Thorn, TLW, and others will happen to SUROS regime, Hard Light, ([u]maybe[/u] nechrocasm). Balance should make guns of different types equal- something that is nearly [u][i]impossible[/i][/u] to achieve. I believe Bungie are doing their best. And who knows, maybe not everyone will use auto rifles. Maybe the HC's, pulse rifles and scout rifles will still be in use. Also, I think you could have conveyed your message in a more moderate way, OP.

If you are that upset then quit the handcannons will fill thier role better now (more close range rather then snipers) they will still be fine and ARs needed a buff so bad.

Thorn can't 2 shot headshot but can actually still 3 shot body shot.

The thron was the no skill weapon way more than an AR ever was. I'm going to be happy as hell with my scout rifles when people think AR are the godly weapons. Edit: if I start playing again after TTK... Waiting this time not preordering anything anymore for destiny.
