Happy now thorn whiners?
All of you who complained and whined about thorn have gotten the beef they wanted while also shitting on pve hand cannons by shortening the range and reducing the magazine size. Ppl need to grow up and stop whining.

I'm honestly pretty surprised final round was nerfed. I mean it was obviously op but such a small percentage of people had them. Yet another thing that I have that Bungie has ruined for me. (I'm a special snowflake) the last thing they are gonna -blam!- over for me will be the boots of eao I'm sure xur's loading his sleigh with them right now for next week. (Don't have g horn either)

I never complained about Thorn, and I actually used it a lot for a while. However, I am super stoked for the weapon re balancing. I think all in all it will improve the crucible immensely.

It's about balance and I can agree with what they are doing a hand Cannon shouldn't be able to out shoot a sniper at sniper range same with a scout it was needed to balance out pvp complain all you want but we don't have the opportunity to "try" them yet so until then I'd say you're no better then the ones who wanted it nerfed....it's more of a balance then anything so relaxe and wait for the patch to drop

They keep nerding the hell out of weapons when they don't reduce the enemy life(PVE).

The only thing I think Thorn really needed a "nerf" on was the burn effect. Aside from that? There's not much else to complain about it.

Yes I'm happy. Hand cannons need damage drop off. Sniping with the thorn and no damage drop off at that distance? WTF? There tuning the guns to what there intended purpose. Or the last word. You die so fast you have no time to react, cause your already dead lol! When everyone is using the same weapon, there's a problem there.

It was annoying at first, like really annoying. I didn't want to sink to the bottom talentlessness so I kept pushing, and pushing. And then it happened. I dusted off my MIDA, just for shits and giggles. Turns out Thorn doesn't have a lot to say against a MIDA. I got better and better, eventually I just laugh as I saw some pathetic noob leaning, and stumbling on their crutch that is Thorn. But, this was inevitable. More so than Gjallarhorn, Black Hammer and Ice Breaker. Did you honestly believe that Thorn would stay this way? It's not like it's the first time Bungie says they want diversity in their game, everyone using one weapon kinda puts it on the table.

Ehh... I dont see how a hand cannon should be able to compete with a scout rifle at mid to long range, which happens reguraly now. People defend it by saying stuff like... "the player must have been incedibly skilled to make that shot"... well maybe so, but that is irrevelant, it shouldn't be possible.
