LEAVE black hammer alone.
There aren't many guns that came from the dark below that were amazing. there are not that many that are good even.
But please leave the black hammer alone.
It doesn't break the game - it doesn't ruin pvp.

Auto rifles - was your choice not the community
But black hammer? Wasn't that the whole point of the perk? Less rounds for the head shot precision bonus?

2 RisposteAgreed with Black Hammer. White Nail makes you work hard to get those precision shots on a big, burly boss. If you get two and miss the third, you HAVE to pull from your current ammo. Where is the benefit of White Nail now? So you don't have to reload to deal from your personal ammo stash now? I'd rather use my VoC to pump more rounds at a higher rate into a boss at this point now and just save my special slot for a shotgun or sidearm. Please don't actually nerf The Hammer, Bungie.

It breaks PvE, but I have to say it got nerfed too hard, at least make it create one round free per White Mail.

black hammer was fine. Also please support https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/138837813/0/0 Im one of many with over 1000+ kills ( i have 1700+ ) and not recieve a husk.

I honestly think it's only bad as compared to what it is now, but without looking back it's still a decent weapon with a unique perk. Overall, I would prefer if it remained untouched but I don't mind the change.

5 RisposteIf they wanted to nerf Black Hammer, they should have just toned down the impact and leave White Nail alone. Reducing the impact down to say, about where Praedyth's Revenge or The Chosen sits would reduce it's boss killing potential (and stop it from infinitely stunlocking bosses like Aksor) but it wouldn't destroy the original purpose of the gun and keep it still viable, but not as an auto-take.

9 RisposteI actually never realized that White Nail granted ammo until someone pointed it out to me. The Black Hammer has a simple concept; pound tons of precision shots into a target without having to reload. The fact that one player can stagger-lock a boss by himself is a testament to the weapons power, not the fact that you get free ammo. If you want infinite ammo, just use the Ice Breaker.

Black hammer was nice o solar burns, unless there were mobs to deal with... but they attacked, icebreaker, not to bad a hurt, but still completely unnecessary...
