Did Ice Breaker Deserve the Nerf?
Explain your answer, I'd say no because it fulfilled a certain niche that an exotic should do.

Yes. So much of the end-game in PvE has become either hanging back and sniping with Ice Breakers.....or rolling up with multiple Ghorns and blowing the screen up. The fact that two boss fights in the PoEs had to be "nerfed", shows that Bungie was finding it harder to make boss fights that were hard enough so that multiple Ghorns or Ice Breakers couldn't make a mockery of it.....while still being easy enough to be playable by teams that don't have these weapons.

Never see it in pvp again having to wait 10 seconds into round for 1 bullet then starting back and 0 every time you die

For PvP the charge rate is too slow, I think at the start it should be fully charged with the 8 sec recharge to make it abit more balanced

No, but I'll take it with a grain of salt as it'll probably still decimate in the crucible. Frankly, I think it'll be good to see less IB campers in PvE too.

All icebreaker really needed was a tweak to Its first row of perks. They do literally nothing to affect its stats. It certainly did not need to get its ammo regen rate slowed at all

3 RisposteYes and no. The only place it was abused was Oracle in VoG. Might have to rethink the strat if you run out of ammo? And can't regen it quickly?

Nope. Favorite sniper rifle just got screwed. Reliability got shot especially for me being a heavy PvE player.

There was no reason, 5 seconds was a long period too It's almost like they did it JUST so they could say they addressed all weapons/exotics

I think going from 5 to 8 seconds might have been a little extreme.

They nerfed Black hammer saying "we want you to be using Icebreaker for infinite ammo" then they nerf Icebreaker.. Wtf? They nerf a gun then in the nerf description say "use this one" then nerf that one as well.

No one in my clan really uses IN anymore already. This will just put it at the bottom of the exotic list of the lost causes
