No damage fall off? YES!
High default stability? YES!
Lots of bouncy bullets? FUN!
The new buff will mean that Hardlight will have the following advantages over other rifles.
-Maximum aim assist
-Nearly max handling for lighting fast aiming
-No damage falloff negating the new range nerf
-10% more damage that other rifles of its rate of fire tier due to aggressive ballistics
-lightning fast reloads
-its new super skip round may ending up allowing for some interesting things!
Edit: I think it's funny that some people can't understand that "Hardlight projectiles" are all bullets fired from Hardlight and that the gun will have no damage fall off period. Please reread the patch notes if you are a misinformed person who things the no damage fall off buff is only for ricocheted bullets.

5 RisposteI just used it in 2.0 and dude. The trick shots you can pull now. I shoot around phalanx shields like no one's business. Walls and corners ain't nothing. It's awesome.

4 RisposteActually, MIDA is better.

I had a feeling it would rise from reading the patch notes, but your info here has solidified my belief.

6 RisposteHard light... Best? Those words don't belong in the same sentence.

6 RisposteSorry to break it to you, but they ruined Feild Scout. Now ONLY extra ammo. No extra clip. Oh, they nerfed extended mag too. Assholes.

15 RisposteProjectiles are bullets that bounce off things d u m b a s s

It's actually only 5% damage bonus with the new perk nerf.

apparently i was wrong....

I know hard light is a beast now but you should use Necrochasm its a beast also i cant deside what i wanna use hard light or necrochasm..... :(
-
I always felt the patch notes were somewhat ambiguous. I interpreted it as the bullets that bounce don't get damage falloff. I'm actually glad I was wrong. This thing is a beast now. The Necro is performing admirably as well.

2 RisposteIt was wonderful before. Excited to get this download done to try it.

16 RisposteFalloff refers to the ricochet projectiles . I will come back to this post In September to laugh at you. See you soon.

It does seem deadlier than it was, just wish the visual effects on the bounces weren't so obnoxious. A whole team oh Hard Lights is a blinding affair.

4 RisposteModificato da A Pumpkin Spice Bagel: 9/9/2015 12:56:36 AMI'm pretty sure the falloff change only applies to the projectiles that bounce of walls not the "physical bullets". When most guns fire in the game they check for a hit and if someone would be hit it does damage. This doesn't apply to fusion rifles, sidearms, and rocket launchers since they fire actual projectiles that take time to reach a target. When the Hardlight shoots a wall and the "bullets" bounce off I'm 99% sure that they stop acting like a laser and instead act like a projectile that in the past was bugged and lost much of it's damage when they bounced.

4 RisposteLol no its not. At all. Shadow price is better. The messanger still wrecks face.
-
Feel the wrath of my blinding volley of projectiles. You can fall to your knees and beg me to stop- but I won't. You are now blind sir. Rip
