How do I check that? And what would get me restricted?

You can check at enforcement.xbox.com Sign in to your account and if there is an orange banner on the left you have been restricted The ways to get restricted are but not limited to: Solicitation Cheating Account tampering Account theft Phishing Marketplace theft Gamer tag Impersonation Harassment
