The striker subclass for the titan character is by far the most overpowered combination in Destiny. For starters, the shoulder charge melee is a guaranteed "one hit" while other melees such as a critical hit with a throwing knife, aren't. How is it that a throwing knife hitting you in the face does not kill you, but someone flying ten feet and hitting you with their shoulder does. But the worst part is Fist Of Havoc. I've used every single super in the game in PvP and I can tell you from experience that you can die from one shotgun shot while using any super, except for Fist Of Havoc. Hell, I've hit a Titan in the middle of using Fist Of Havoc with a Golden Gun shot, and I barely took down his shield and he walked away perfectly fine. Plus, with the new exotic helmet for the Titan class, Eternal Warrior, a striker titan is guaranteed the "unstoppable" perk for Fist Of Havoc. If you won't take another look at the striker subclass, will you at least change the perk "unstoppable" to the name "invincible"? Because that's what it feels like when fighting against one in Crucible, especially Trials of Osiris.

1 RispondiModificato da xl Boo Yah lx: 8/14/2015 2:57:14 PMOmg will the whining never stop. Go play Minecraft lolol

It must be hard to be that F UCKING stupid Ok because that makes sense, a Titan more overpowered than a hunter in pvp, yup seems about right to me. You my friend are indeed 10/10 a moron.

Modificato da McKitten Man: 8/12/2015 4:12:31 PMMost people who play trials will rather face a team of 3 Titans vs a team of full hunters or warlocks....and you can't kill a warlock mid Nova bomb with shotty either..

Bro, titans wear steel plating for armor, so yea when a titan is charging you and shoulder charges you at mock speeds your gunna get -blam!-ed up son. Throwing knives bounce off our steel plate helmets, please think before posting.

6 RisposteModificato da A Great Baggi: 7/14/2015 3:49:58 AMHa, haha, hahahahhahahahahah.... Oh wait, you're serious? All joking aside, you have the wrong impression. But before we get into this, I want to say that I have played all 3 classes (and all 6 subclasses) extensively in both PVE and PVP. In the latter, Titan is actually relatively difficult to preform with when compared to the other classes. Hopefully, this will help. Gunslinger Super is extremely safe and easy to use, easily allowing you to net 1-4 kills depending on how you use it. Tripmine grenade is easily one of the most user-friendly grenades in the game. Melee ability has the highest effective range of all of the melees Class modifiers focus on super and increasing gunplay. Bladedancer Super isn't as easy or safe as Golden Gun, but have a much higher capacity for kills, allowing to easily wipe out an entire team in Crucible All grenades have good killing capacity. Melee isn't as useful as others, but the INSANELY fast charge with Fast Twitch or increased damage when you backstab someone can be very nice. Class modifiers again increase your super's usability, but instead increase your overall movement speed and overall pace. Voidwalker Super, depending on how you're spec'd, is very lethal, whether its leaving an AoE or covering a wider range, the fact that this super IS ranged, makes it marginally more useful. Scatter Grenade+Nothing Manacles and Axion Bolt, nuff said. The inherent range of the warlock melee combined with modifiers like Life Steal and Soul Rip makes it insane. Most of the class modifiers makes your void abilities insanely powerful. Sunsinger Self Res, Radiant Skin. Just as two examples. Fire bolt and Fusion grenades are both insanely powerful and useful in Crucible, and you get 2 of them ;) You get an overshield on hit with your melee, not kill, like defender, but on hit. Class modifiers include but are not limited to; Increased Duration on Radiance, Second Grenade, and Burning the opponent alive. Striker Super is powerful, but can only be used at a short range. You could "add" range to the attack, but you sacrifice a powerful AoE or becoming Superman Melee is near worthless, Shoulder Charge is powerful, but it also has a short range AND charge time. The only useful grenade for PVP is the lightning grenade, and even that is avoidable. Class modifiers increase your overall survivablity. Defender Super is a large bubble shield that blocks bullets and rockets, but can be invaded by the enemy, and is COMPLETELY countered by EVERY OTHER SUPER. While the buffs the melee provides are useful, they only happen on a kill. While Magnetic Grenade is godly on PVE, it loses effectiveness in PVP and the effects of the Suppression Grenade is countered by gunplay Class modifiers increase the useability of you super and increases survivability I figured getting a class comparison could help you make a more educated decision, if it didn't, oh well. PVE is an entirely different story, but I don't think you care about that. Thank you for your time.

Titans Are good but not op.

Modificato da noller77: 7/14/2015 1:23:07 AMXD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD this thread made me laugh so hard, thank you. Seriously WTF are you talking about? I switched from Titan as my main to warlock as my main because warlock is so much better. They can take more damage, there grenades are way superior, the melee range is hilarious, the speed is way better, the fly is amazing, and the supers are overall just better in every way. Before you even try defending yourself you need to play all 3 classes for a long ass time. The last activity my Titan got was a weekly heroic a week ago but before that he was as dusty as my suros regime. Edit: you seem super nettled
-
Hunters, enough said Also shoulder charge is not a 1 hit melee on a warlock using the ram, so one shot melee is invalid, its one shot on most players
-
Titan is only good for pvp, it proves near to useless in pve, you risk you dying, which can be bad in hard mode raids, skolas, 34 or even 32 poe. They are good where they are now

Modificato da BachelorOne: 7/15/2015 6:43:01 AMI just looked at your PvP stats and though they're pretty bad across the board, it's quite clear you do better with your other classes. Not only is this fairly common in Destiny, it invalidates your argument.
-
So your telling me that when I have to get that close to you you don't have time to blown me away? Your dumb or just suck
-
Striker makes up for the joke of a class that is defender.
-
Lmfao...clearly you don't play PVP so often.
-
3 RisposteThe biggest disadvantage for Titan is trying to use your melee up close......Hunter and Warlock both have some range but Titan needs to run at them before you can land a hit. Way less user friendly, and imo a fair exchange for the shoulder charge (although I think it's still overpowered). I play with all 6 subclasses and do equally well simply because I pre-meditate every kill and never waste anything including supers, grenades or heavy ammo. I play the perimeter and get 2.5+ k/d all day on IB by using an "act rather than react" philophosy when in PVP and not running into traps. I do think warlocks and titans are in general at an advantage in PVP since they can respawn with their super intact if killed in the middle of it. But they are also way easier to avoid than a golden gun from across the map or an arcblade that nobody on your team seems to notice.

This guy has to be one of the stupidest people out here on the forums.

13 RisposteIf you used all supers in PvP u know that the titians striker class in PvP has no rang like nova bomb and golden gun. Its a judgement call at best.

1 RispondiThey suck in PVE, and if you are saying this is PVP based then you'd better put that in the title
