Destiny 2 should be for PS3/X360 too! Here's why:
Destiny 2 should be for Old Gen too.
Here's why:
1: [b]Bungie will lose many players. Less players equals less money for Bungie. I don't think they would cut such a big money source. [/b]
2: [b]Graphics on old Gen looks amazing too. Haters gonna hate now. The different between PS3/PS4 is too little. I'm sure XBOX One Players will also love the graphics on XBOX 360. Why should we upgrade, when we are happy with the graphics?[/b]
3: [b]Many players like me won't upgrade their consoles. Why? Because of 2.) and because they are happy with their current console. Why should you pay over 300€ for only 1 game? There are still many games on oldGen. A new console would be non-sense. [/b]

I could post much more arguments for supporting oldGen. Finally we can say: OldGen is still good enough for the current gaming industry. Please... Read everything again. Do you see why Destiny 2 should be for oldGen too?

So there can be more excuses that gamers can use on why this game is actually pretty bad, instead of blaming the actual problem (Bungie and their development team)? LOL "it's last gens fault they can't add more vault space". Too many people kept saying this, good one.

The reason it might not happen is due to hardware limitations. Depending on how big Destiny 2 will be it might not be possible for it to be on old gen. For example in Advanced Warfare next gen is getting guns that old gen isn't because it would take up too much space.

It has been noted in a Destiny ViDoc (not sure which one) that bungie optimized Destiny at upscaled 1080p and 30 FPS so that the difference between console or console generations wasnt too great. So, yes, old gen is holding current gen back. I hope Destiny 2 is current gen only. It will have been almost 4 years by the time D2 releases. Just upgrade and stop maining 11 year old hardware.

Not supporting cross gen (to technology a decade+ old) means 2 things: more development resources to go towards a technologically current system resulting in a much better game in every way (the support of old gen limited much of our experience on Destiny as it could not be drastically different) and the second thing is we will be moving on from an inevitably outdated system.. it's gotta happen sometime, and it's better done sooner than later. Some players will upgrade, some won't; it's the name of the game/the nature of the sport so to speak.. As a side note, all of my friends (the few that had Destiny on 360) noted how large the graphical difference was, how much faster the menus responded, and how many entities the screen could handle without frame drops.

7 RisposteDestiny's areas were supposed to me 10-15 times their size. Cut to their current size due to memory constraints. The list is immense. Suck it up and buy next-gen. D2 is only next gen.

But that doesn't mean I won't ever buy a PS4, just not this year...or next...or the next one. Point is we are all going to upgrade sooner or later. When you do, you'll played Destiny two. Totally support the second one (and most of the others). I'd far rather play PS3 on a flat screen than PS4 on a tube TV... You literally can't say the graphics are better on the tube just because PS4.

8 RisposteThey should make destiny 2 new gen only but they should offer old gen a way to upgrade to new gen and keep your progress. Also I heard that old gen is the reason why we can't get more vault space any more.

1 RispondiErr, no. First of all, old-gen undeniably holds games back. The old consoles literally don't have the RAM or processing power to handle things new ones can; that's why they had to downgrade a part of the Vault for you guys when they increased space, and why your menus take so much longer to open. They can't just cut a bunch of stuff for you because then they're making two separate games, an issue by itself, and you'll bitch and moan that you're not getting the "Destiny 2" that was advertised. The starting point of a game is the biggest factor to its final quality. If they downgrade the engine so old consoles can handle it they can't just replace the engine with a good one in a patch later; that's a huge waste of development time and funding. The game will forever be locked to that bad, outdated engine. Here's the biggest issue, though; two years after the consoles release, Taken King comes out. That means you can pretty much guarantee Destiny 2 will be at least 3 years post-launch. If you can't justify the purchase or save up money in 3 years when console prices have been and will continue to go down, you probably aren't a dedicated enough customer for them to invest that much money into getting you to pay.

The graphical difference between last and current gen is huge. Textures look like crap on last gen (example: Master Rahool) and some textures don't even transition well between gens (example: Hildian Seeker). I have both the PS3 and PS4 copies and transition between them often. It's extremely difficult to not notice the differences as the are extremely prominent.

More like activision will lose money bungie made halo. Now that bungie left Microsoft activision made them a deal so they(activision) can get as much money as possible. Bungie supported a community. I believe they can do this in destiny if activision stops being greedy af.
