Hopscotch Pilgrim or the Messenger?

I prefer messenger over all others. It just works for me. (Even moreso than my super pox and hopscotch).

I've tried both. The Hopscotch is awesome, but I prefer the range of The Messenger. I can beat some snipers with it from long ranges that isn't possible with the Hopscotch.

My hopscotch has Headseeker rodeo and Smallbore. I love it

13 RisposteDepends. Do you like the perks on the Messenger? Honestly, I find Headseeker pointless. It's a 2 hit kill pulse rifle. Headseeker increases damage from 38 to 41, if you miss a headshot and hit the body (26 damage). 6 Headshots (2 actual trigger pulls) = 228 damage 5 Headshots + 1 Body w/Headseeker = 222 damage 5 Headshots + 1 Body = 216 All are 2 shot kills, unless you have a full Toughness Warlock with the Ram. He MAY survive 6 Headshots, and probably survives the other two. I prefer Hopscotch Pilgrim because I can get the perks I want. Plus, HP can get Stability to 100 which Messenger can't, and that little bit of difference can make a big difference at range. With 100 Stability it's a complete laser.

If you can get both then so be it... you can roll a HP to be EXACTLY identical to the Messenger (mine even has the exact same scopes as the messenger)... The only difference my HP has over the Messenger is an extra trigger pull and a little more aim assistance. But you can also roll the HP differently if you want... some people like Outlaw and Reactive Reload, some people like braced frame and hidden hand... The HP is malleable and thats a plus, but they are both great guns.

1 RispondiI do pretty well with the Pilgrim on my hunter. The stability is so high that during the nightfall I got a precision hit for 1508. I couldn't figure out what happened, but then I remembered that it sometimes happens with shotguns that all of the rounds hit in the same place and it just combines all of the shots into one damage number.
