Lagswitching.
Why does everyone think that anyone who is glitching around a little, or anyone who they don't get hitmarkers on is lagswitching?
99% OF THE TIME THEY ARE NOT CHEATING, THIS IS JUST A VERY LAGGY GAME.
God damn, the amount of -blam!-ing messages I get accusing me of cheating simply because I have a red bar connection is absolutely ridiculous. I live in Australia, we already have shit Internet, and I'm young and renting, sorry I can't get your 1gb downloads America, I'll just have to settle for my 200kb/s and make do. (I'll still beat you ;) )
Seriously guys, there's all kinds of lag in this game, server lag, people with bad internet and yeah, maybe 1/1000 are cheating somehow. Deal with it, you whiny bitches.

Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. Your connection is awful. I am sorry that you either cannot afford a good internet connection or live in place that does not offer it. Such is life. Please stop contributing to the frustration of other people. Also, it is very hard to believe you can actually connect with your speed.

1 Rispondithank you man, finally someone with some sense. Out of all the trials, pvp matches i have played which is more than i care to count, i would say that 1 time i ran into a lag switch. I see posts on here everyday about how every match in trials they get lag switched. So so sad.

I played with two kids the other day from Australia and we had the same problem. When they match with kids in the states the connection is not to good. It's ok man I got accused for cheating once when a kid got booted from the other team and they said I kicked him because we were losing mean while the kid was red bar the whole time haha

On another note, Bungie should be handing out bans left and right. The addicts would have the buy the game again. But then Bungie probably did a phycological study finding that perma banning cheaters just forces them to move onto another game.

I play with someone who lives in Australia (I live in the USA) and her Internet is just fine. I have a friend who lives 5 minutes from me who lags out all the time unlike my friend in Australia because my local friend has crummy Internet.

2 RisposteI spend like 45-60 seconds reviewing the gameplay history of people whose lag seems a little too convenient. Turns out in regular crucible it's fairly uncommon. However, in the iron banner and ToO, I ended up successfully calling cheaters to the tune of 1/3, and of say 15-20 matches it takes to go 9-0, we hit cheaters on average like 2 times. It happens, and enough to where you have probably been in a round or played with a person that has cheated.

Lag simply doesn't do that. I can kill someone lagging even if their death is delayed. I have NEVER had someone with genuine lag that simply will not die. That is definitely someone lag switching! Edit: Bungie seem to be cluing up to the genuine lag switchers and mod users and banning them promptly now so claiming "Invincibility" is due to standard lag isn't going to wash anymore.

2 RisposteWow, 200 kbs? You shouldn't be able to play lol. If your down us that bad, your up must be under 100 kbs. No one should be denied the right to play, but we need to enforce some sort of minimal standards otherwise it ruins people's experience. No offence, but it's time for you to start paying for your own service so you can have more bandwidth.
