For those of you who are holding off on TTK at the moment, what is is that you are waiting to hear to tip the scales? I tried to include the major options, but add yours below. Personally, I am waiting to see what will happen to some of my favorite legendaries.
Edit: it seems people are really interested in weapon upgrading.

4 Rispostefor the price in the uk to go down, £40 to much
-
Haven't ordered yet cause I just haven't got around to it. Honestly, none of those points matter, because I'll get it no matter. I think Bungie not being forthcoming about certain aspects is most likely because it's still a work in progress and they're undecided on a few things. As much as I'd like to see weapon ascension carried forward, I'd really rather see a whole new line up of weapons (better ones), including successors to the 1st gen Exotics.

1 RispondiWhere's the "all of the above and then some" option?
-
There needs to be an option for other
-
I just wait until the last minute.
-
I'm waiting for more details in general. They haven't given me enough information to commit to the purchase yet.
-
3 RisposteA price based upon pound sterling rather than a 1:1 currency conversion rate that rips me off.
-
All of the above. Mostly servers, they want to take more money from me ? Fix your -blam!-ing game
-
I'm actually a little surprised that the upgrade path is as high as it is. I totally expected to to be like story content or activities.
-
I just wanna hear more detail about the actual content rather than foggy deej posts and random forum speculation
-
An actual list of what we'll be getting, not a vague idea.
-
Check if there is more than going missions backwards and opening doors again.

1 RispondiUk pricing shambles, I don't mind paying £40 but for that I want a lot more new content than rehashed old stuff I'm fed up with them taking the piss and getting away with it
-
2 RisposteI'm waiting for an answer to why tf you can't preorder on 360 in the UK
-
1 RispondiWaiting to see if the crew that I run with is going to hang around. The focus here is on groups and quite frankly, there are too many good games coming out to bother trying to make new friends in the worst community (that I've witnessed) in gaming.
-
1 Rispondiwaiting to find out what justifies pricing a DLC/expansion as per a full game. My heart is hoping for something exciting, but my head is telling me to remember TDB & HoW.
-
I'm waiting for reviews
-
I have been burned before by pre-ordering, far too many times. Now I wait for reviews and proper information on what exactly I will be getting for my money. That way you can decide not to buy it if you don't think it is worth it, rather than spending money then being disappointed with your purchase. I chose "Info on crucible balance" for my choice though, because unless crucible is balanced properly, instead of being the Thorn/TLW/Hawkmoon 3 horse race that it currently is, I wont be buying it. Most shooters keep my attention with PVP, and right now with the distinct lack of variety in PVP encounters it's just too boring to keep me around. Without the PVP the only thing that kept me playing was the fact my friends were playing, and I like playing along with them. As fewer friends are playing, I am putting the disc in my PS4 less often, so really TTK really needs to offer something special or i wont be buying it.

1 RispondiMy reasons be three. 1. Preorders for a digital item are insanely useless because there's no need to pay to reserve a copy of a product that can be infinitely supplied. 2. You shouldn't pay for something without knowing its quality or if it's worth the price. 3. The price for Australians is curiously marked up more than any other DLC I've ever seen to a whopping $70. No other DLC, not even the previous 2 Destiny DLCs, are marked up 75% of the U.S. price and I refuse to pay an absurdly large amount for something with no explanation as to why it's so expensive. I just bought The Witcher 3 for $78 over here and that's a far better investment.

3 RispostePricing and detailed description of content. No more just hopping on the hype train.
-
I'm not in town
-
I'm not buying it it my birthday on the 15th sept so the wife buying it She ordered the collectors edition
-
3 RisposteI'm waiting to figure out how Xbox360 players can preorder
-
1 RispondiWaiting for the post release reviews. Bumgie has taught me one thing and reinforced another. Reinforced: Never pre order. NEVER. Taught: Buy physical hard copies. I haven't figured out how to sell used digital copies yet.
-
Really any kind of specifics on content offered other than the update that just used the plural form. They were able to skimp hard on TDB and HoW because my version of the game came with the season pass but this is a new purchase.

How about the "there's no reason to preorder" option
