Just. Nerf. Them. Already.
For the billionth time, Thorn and The Last Word are ridiculously overpowered. Nerf them.
Do. It. Now.
It should not take this long too implement, especially given the amount of overwhelming wave of hate that has been directed at these weapons for months now.
I understand that you're busy Bungie, but rebalancing your PvP is of paramount importance to the future of Destiny.

Yes, I am using The Last Word on my Hunter. But no, that does not make the argument I am making in this thread invalid. Why would I limit my performances in PvP by not using the best weapons available? Out of pride? -blam!- that, I want to win - just like most of you.

13 RisposteIf they nerf those 2 weapons, red death will be king. After that happens people will want a red death nerf because it is op. How about we buff other weapons so that they can compete with this 2?

Nothing, and I mean nothing, touches TLW or Thorn in effectiveness. Red Death would be the next closest adversary, followed by The Messenger (and other pulse rifles of the same archetype). Yesterday, for example, heads up with Red Death against TLW. Two perfectly placed head shots with Red Death, but TLW two shot me at mid range and killed me before the all 3 bullets of the second burst could be fired. Recorded it and played it back, dude was aiming and two shot me, meaning the bug won him the gun fight. For secondary, I've never been a good sniper so I won't comment on it. But a shot package/max range shottie has the same range as your standards fusion rifle. Granted there are a couple stand out fusion rifles (foil, plan c, not talking about vex), but the vast majority are not worth it over a properly rolled shottie that has the same range and is an insta one shot. 3 RisposteHowabout this, slightly reduce the range of the thorn so it cant hit you like a sniper, fix the glitch on TLW, and lastly rebuff the ARs to their former glory. This community was never happy with what Bungie buffed or nerfed. People asked Bungie to nerf the SUROS, they did that, they werent happy with the result, they asked Bungie to buff the Thorn, they werent happy with the result. This is the problem,when Bungie nerfs or buffs weapons, they never test the result.

they need to balance the weapons,not nerf. should be no reason you cant pick up any weapon and compete. that is the problem. Thorn is lame,but so is the fact everybody has 200 useless weapons in their vault

They were quick to nerf auto rifles when they "dominated" crucible, Yet you have these TWO specific guns that 99% of crucible focused people use. And they do nothing about it. Hmmm...

The Last Word is fine, they just need to fix the bug on it and maybe nerf the range a little. The Thorn is another story though. I don't really think it's OP as much as I think it's just stupid. Like the fact that you can pop 2 shots in someone and just run the other direction knowing they're going to die. I don't care what they do to it but it needs to be at least a 3 shot kill. Either less DoT damage, or it doesn't stay as long.

If people keep complaining for nerfs I'm scared that hand cannons will all be nerfed. They jus need to buff autos again so u will see more variety. Only reason people never used pulse rifles was because they sucked but now they can hold their own

3 RisposteDismantle your Thorn and TLW and maybe people will take you seriously ;) And just think, since the game has progressed so far now, almost everyone has a Thorn and TLW so if 80% of the crucible has one, doesn't that make PvP balanced? :D
