1 RispondiNa i reckon they needed to move on but i still find bungie players on reach which is cool
-
You guys Halo would've stayed the usual Halo it was. Destiny was there failed attempt at a mmog. Get that in your heads
-
No, other wise they would have made it become destiny. *shivers*
-
Gotta quit while you're ahead
-
No. Look at how Destiny turned out and imagine how much worse Halo 4 would have been if they developed it like Destiny.
-
3 RisposteIf you asked this prior to 09/09/14 I would have said yes as it's not, no, hell no. I am glad they are nowhere near it.
-
Yes; because Halo is waaaaay more fun than destiny.
-
No, as they got bored of it. Simple as that, people who get bored do lazy work.
-
1 RispondiModificato da Kafuu Chino: 7/29/2015 4:13:00 AMWith the way Destiny is being handled, I'd rather them not. They already took one step in the wrong direction with Reach.
-
I, personally, am quite pleased with what I've seen of Halo 5 thus far. And in terms of how much I simply like one developer over the other, 343 Industries seems so much more genuine than Bungie.
-
This would all depend if they would join activision or not. If bungie join them, so i prefer not to imagine
-
10 RisposteNo. I don't think anyone should be making Halo anymore. Once upon a time, Halo changed the FPS genre. It defined a generation and sold many consoles. If Halo could continue to pioneer the genre and continue to change gaming then great, but that isn't what's happening. The genre is changing Halo. There's no real innovation to speak of, nor anything new to the series that we haven't seen in some other game. I see every Halo after 3 as every Rocky after IV. With Reach as with Rocky V, I felt that the majesty was gone. With Halo 4 as with Rocky Balboa I wished they would have just let them go with a little dignity.
-
343i is wayyyyyyy better so no
-
1 RispondiI think yes... Unless they still planned on teaming up with Craptivision
-
1 RispondiThey were burnt out on Halo. It surpassed Marathon as their most milked IP and it was time to move on. I'm still waiting for Destiny to find its stride mind you.
-
They didn't gave a choice
-
I wouldn't have minded halo 3 being the last halo, but the legendary ending made me feel otherwise...
-
It depends, OP. If Bungie had never shifted philosophy and was still the Old Bungie, but Old Bungie today? Sure. I think had Bungie not had a paradigm shift in the ways/reasons that they make games and stayed partnered with Microsoft, then I think Bungie should have kept Halo. However; their shift to this shit-stain ActiBungie (and the ensuing departures of [apparently] anyone who actually understood good games and what their Gamers want) doesn't even deserve to have Destiny, much less the Halo franchise. Don't get me wrong; I do not like the direction 343 is going with Halo, but what 343 is doing with Halo is infinitely better than the way ActiBungie is mismanaging Destiny... My opinion.
-
I wouldn't mind breaks between Halos. Like they made a Halo trilogy then made Destiny then went back to Halo.
-
5 RisposteModificato da Darth Zannah: 7/16/2015 1:02:48 PMNo they should've stayed with Microsoft. Clearly kept them in line
-
-
4 RisposteNo, they would have added even more plot holes and the direction the series took with 343 is the same they originally intended. So the only difference is that we would've received more mediocre story in the campaign.
-
13 RisposteDoesnt matter. Look at reach. They would of taken the same direction of 343. Butt imo Halo 5s multiplayer
which I have played
is much better than reach and 4 and in some ways it is better than the others. Although halo 3 is still bae
-
God no, not after what happened to destiny. It's pretty much an objective fact that they've become more corporate sellout than 343 ever was. 343 is actually trying, bungie keeps making excuses.
-
3 RisposteNo. I don't trust Bungie anymore. They've become too corporate and unfriendly. I much prefer the good folks of 343 now.
-
Modificato da Krash Nebula: 7/8/2015 4:35:49 PM2 reasons why no. 1- they didn't want to anymore so from reach on it would loose passion and get worse and worse 2. As much as I hate to say it... Halo can't be halo 3 for 24 years. 343 is doing great on evolving the series.
